9 Dec 02. The U.S. Department of Defense announced the following contracts on Monday:
-General Electric Co., Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $39.2m as part of a $531.5m firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of 59-701C install engines. Work will be performed in Lynn and is to be completed by Aug. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
-General Dynamics Decision Systems , Scottsdale, Ariz., was awarded a delivery order amount of $500,000 as part of a $10m cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for development, test, and delivery of cryptographic software products for the advanced information systems security machine device and associated peripheral processors to support future cluster joint tactical radio set acquisitions of the Joint Tactical Radio System on Dec. 5, 2002. Work will be performed in Scottsdale and is to be completed by Dec. 4, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
-L-3 Communications Systems , Salt Lake City is being awarded a delivery order as part of a firm-fixed-price contract for AS-3036 antenna upgrade kits. Work will be performed in Salt Lake City and is to be completed by Dec. 16, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on Oct. 11, 2002.
-Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. , Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $6.4m firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for F-15E AN and ALQ-135 Band 1.5 Internal Countermeasures Test Program Set (TPS) Development and Depot Repair Support CCP 008.
