SYSTEMS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OFFERS DISPOSABLE UAV

Roy Wubker, Vice President and CEO of Systems Research and Development Corp., Florida, (SRDC) is offering the Archangel and Super Archangel disposable UAVs to the pentagon at a price of $40,000 each. Wubker set up the company in 1989 and now employs 22 people. SRDC has already sold some units to the U.S. navy’s Special Warfare division and has orders for nearly 100 more.

The Archangel has a 10ft wingspan and is powered by a two-stroke motor, weighs 90-100ilbs, depending on payload. Made principally from fibreglass and Styrofoam. Archangel can fly for 30 hours and has a range of 2,000 nautical miles. The Super Archangel has a 14ft wingspan and can carry heavier payloads.
