Collins Aerospace, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) business, showcased its latest innovation in anti-jam Assured Positioning Navigation and Timing (APNT) technology during the U.S. Army’s All-Domain Persistent Experiment at White Sands Missile Range, N.M. The successful demonstration highlighted Collins’ smallest APNT ground solution to date, offering advanced capabilities in a portable, modular form.
The business’s Compact Modular Open Systems Standards (CMOSS) Mounted Form Factor (CMFF) card can be used to provide resilient navigation for ground vehicles, including robotic and autonomous platforms. While paired with an external antenna, the solution demonstrated exceptional performance in a denied and degraded GPS environment.
“Our card provides highly precise navigation in contested environments, and a scalable, cost-effective solution that is ready now for integration on a variety of platforms,” said Sandy Brown, vice president and general manager of Mission Critical Products at Collins Aerospace. “The smaller form factor allows for faster mission customization and improved situational awareness.”
During the experiment, Collins’ APNT system maintained assured navigation despite the presence of a significant number of jammers and spoofers. Leveraging Military-code GPS and internal and external organic sensors, the solution fused multiple data sources to ensure uninterrupted connectivity for ground vehicles, even in the absence of reliable GPS data.

22 Dec 25. Rocket Lab Successfully Launches for iQPS, Ends 2025 with 21 Launches and 100% Mission Succes. Rocket Lab Corporation (Nasdaq: RKLB) (“Rocket Lab” or “the Company”), a global leader in launch services and space systems, today successfully launched its 21st Electron rocket of the year to deploy the latest satellite to space for multi-launch customer Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc. (iQPS), a Japan-based Earth imaging company.
‘The Wisdom God Guides’ mission launched from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand on December 21 at 7:36 p.m. (06:36 UTC) to deploy the QPS-SAR-15 to space for iQPS. The spacecraft will join the company’s synthetic aperture radar (SAR) constellation providing near-real time imagery across twelve different orbits for iQPS’ global customers. Rocket Lab first launched for iQPS in 2023 and has gone on to deploy seven satellites to the iQPS constellation, making Electron the primary launcher for iQPS. A further five launches on Electron for iQPS are planned from 2026.
Today’s mission has set a new annual launch record for Electron: 21 launches in one year with 100% mission success. The record cements Electron as both America’s preeminent small launch provider and the world’s most frequently-launched small-lift orbital rocket.

Northrop Grumman is set to deliver 150 satellites as part of Tranches 1, 2 and 3 for the Space Development Agency’s missile defense initiative, providing scalable solutions for rapid missile warning and tracking. Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) was competitively awarded a Tracking Layer of Tranche 3 (TRKT3) contract by the Space Development Agency (SDA) to deliver resilient, integrated missile warning and tracking satellites, a component of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) mission.
Northrop Grumman’s TRKT3 will:
- Accelerate the capability to provide global detection, warning and tracking of hypersonic weapons and advanced missiles from the earliest stages of launch through interception.
- Provide precision fire-control sensing data with sufficient accuracy for interception.
- Deliver data to decision makers to act quickly against hypersonic threats when integrated with the Transport Layer, PWSA’s mesh satellite communications network.
- Build on Tracking Layer capabilities of Tranche 1 (T1) and Tranche 2 (T2) with targeted technology enhancements, expanded coverage and increased integration.
- Capitalize on more than 30,000 square feet of allocated PWSA manufacturing space for the production and delivery of 18 satellites equipped with infrared sensors at speed and scale.

The PWSA is SDA’s initiative to create a global mesh-networked missile defense and communications architecture in low-Earth orbit. TRKT3 is the third installment of the tracking layer that responds to the rise of hypersonic missiles, which maneuver in flight and require infrared tracking and low-latency, timely data to counter effectively. The tracking layer works hand-in-hand with the transport layer, which provides the high-speed data that U.S. troops need to combat threats when operating around the globe.
