02 Jun 25. SpaceX launches Starlink Group 10-34 on Saturday, the first of two missions from both coasts. On Saturday, June 28 at 12:26 a.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched 27 Starlink Group 10-34 smallsats to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This launch set a new launchpad turnaround record in the predawn hours of Saturday when it launched its latest Falcon 9 rocket. Photos by Satnews. This was the 5th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched CRS-32, NROL-69, GPS III-7, and now two Starlink missions. The early morning launch carried 27 Starlink satellites and the afternoon liftoff sent 26 more of the relay satellites skyward, totaling SpaceX’s network to more than 7,900 active units, per satellite tracker Jonathan McDowell. 02 Jul 25. UK’s Orbex and Germany’s Exolaunch Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement In Launch Services. The Agreement with Exolaunch will provide end-to-end launch services for small satellites on both Orbex Prime and Proxima. Orbex, the UK-based orbital launch services company, has today announced a strategic five-year partnership with Exolaunch, a global leader in launch services, mission management, deployment systems and integration services for small satellites The agreement will see Orbex and Exolaunch collaborate to provide end-to-end launch services for small satellites. Exolaunch will utilise launch capacity and integrate customer payloads with Orbex’s launch vehicles, Prime and the new medium-sized launcher, Proxima, while Orbex will benefit from Exolaunch’s deployment systems, rideshare structures and global market outreach. In addition, Orbex will work with Exolaunch on future Orbex Prime and Proxima missions to address the growing demand for micro and cube satellite launch services. Exolaunch will provide its flight-proven separation systems for cubesats and microsatellites, with its hardware positioned as the deployment solution for Orbex customers across dedicated and rideshare missions. The partnership also includes the use of Exolaunch’s EXOtube, a modular and scalable launch platform designed to optimize satellite constellations’ launch configurations, increase mission flexibility, and enhance vehicle utilization. Bengaluru-based SatSure, a full-stack satellite Earth Observation (EO) and Decision Intelligence company, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hyderabad-based Dhruva Space, a leading full-stack Space solutions provider with proven expertise in satellite platforms, launch services, and ground station infrastructure. This strategic partnership aims to unify the two companies’ end-to-end, indigenously-developed capabilities across the upstream and downstream segments of the Space value chain, addressing the needs of both strategic and commercial stakeholders with high-reliability, homegrown technology. 21 Jun 25. On June 21st, Space Inventor will launch Denmark’s 1st satellite into orbit. The BIFROST satellite with the CEO & owner of Space Inventor, Karl Kaas. On June 21st, Space Inventor will launch Denmark’s 1st satellite into orbit—BIFROST is a Danish-Swedish surveillance satellite originally developed by the company Space Inventor. Terma, Gatehouse Satcom, DTU, and Swedish Unibap Space Solutions have joined the satellite development project, which is financially supported by DALO (Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation) under the Danish Ministry of Defence and FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration) under the Swedish Ministry of Defence. After seven years of development, this smallsat will be launched into orbit on June 21st from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The launch is initiated by the Danish and Swedish Defence ministries as part of the Danish government’s Space Strategy for Research and Innovation 2025–2035, introduced in 2024. The strategy highlights the Arctic as a security policy priority, where space-based technologies play a vital role in supporting the tasks of the military and emergency services. These include, for example, monitoring navigation in icy waters, search and rescue operations, and enforcing sovereignty across the Kingdom of Denmark. The satellite represents a pioneering Danish achievement, combining state-of-the-art technologies within artificial intelligence, advanced sensor systems, inter-satellite communication, and modern satellite design. BIFROST is engineered specifically for the Danish and Swedish Defence forces and will enable space-based surveillance, target identification, and real-time event reporting in the North Atlantic and Arctic regions. The satellite’s purpose is to strengthen AI-supported situational awareness and tactical observations, improving Denmark and Sweden’s capabilities to respond quickly and share data across European and international partnerships. Space is an increasingly strategic domain for defence policy. This satellite launch clearly demonstrates the potential of space-based technologies to contribute to both Danish and Nordic security and defence. Denmark is highly invested in the future of the space sector, and these solutions give us the ability to monitor every corner of the Kingdom. 26 Jun 25. RTX provides Blue Canyon satellite to shape future space missions. Blue Canyon Technologies, RTX’s (NYSE: RTX) launched a CubeSat in support of ARCSTONE, a NASA mission to measure lunar spectral reflectance, or the way sunlight is reflected back from the Moon’s surface at different wavelengths of light—the ARCSTONE mission will use the data it collects to help calibrate space-based imagers for earth observation. Sunlight, reflected from Earth, carries a vast amount of information into space about the planet’s surface, atmosphere and its composition. ARCSTONE will use a spectrometer to precisely measure reflected sunlight from the entire lunar disk. This cannot be done as effectively from Earth’s surface due to interference from the atmosphere. The ARCSTONE observatory is shown in LEO with the spectrometer viewing the Sun and Moon. The spacecraft rotates in order to view the Moon or the Sun. In addition to building the spacecraft, Blue Canyon Technologies will also provide mission operations support, making approximately three contacts with the satellite per day. The ARCSTONE spacecraft is Blue Canyon’s 66th CubeSat to launch into orbit, bringing the company’s total number of CubeSat and microsatellite spacecraft launched to 84 units. The satellite was designed using the company’s guidance, navigation and control systems to enable high pointing accuracy and agility for targeting. Pointing accuracy describes the process of orienting a spacecraft which is especially important in data collection missions. The spacecraft was assembled at Blue Canyon’s CubeSat factory in Boulder, Colorado, and mission operations will be conducted from the company’s Mission Operations Center in Lafayette. One of the most challenging tasks in remote sensing from space is achieving required instrument calibration accuracy on-orbit,” said Dr. Constantine Lukashin, physical research scientist at NASA’s Langley Research Center and principal investigator for the ARCSTONE mission. “The Moon is an excellent and available source for calibration with the potential for high accuracy. 24 Jun 25. United Launch Alliance + Amazon launch the Kuiper 2 mission. A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket carrying the Kuiper 2 mission for Amazon’s Project Kuiper lifted off on June 23 at 6:54 a.m. EDT from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This mission marks the next step in Amazon’s initiative to provide fast, reliable internet to customers around the world, including those in unserved and underserved communities. The Kuiper 2 launch deployed the second batch of operational Project Kuiper satellites into the intended orbit. There are six remaining Kuiper missions on the Atlas V rocket, building up to 38, high-cadence, rapid fire launches on the next-generation Vulcan rocket. 23 Jun 25. SpaceX launches the Transporter-14 on a dedicated smallsat rideshare mission from foggy Vandenberg. On Monday, June 23 at 2:25 p.m. PT, Falcon 9 launched the Transporter-14 mission to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. This was the 26th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission which previously launched NROL-87, NROL-85, SARah-1, SWOT, Transporter-8, Transporter-9, NROL-146, Bandwagon-2, NROL-153, NROL-192, and 15 Starlink missions. Transporter-14 was a dedicated smallsat rideshare mission. There were 70 payloads on this flight, including cubesats, microsats, re-entry capsules, and orbital transfer vehicles carrying three of those payloads to be deployed at a later time. 28 Jun 25.  Rocket Lab launches ‘Symphony In The Stars’ and achieves new record of two launches under 48 hours. Rocket Lab Corporation (Nasdaq: RKLB) (“Rocket Lab” or “the Company”), provider of launch services and space systems, today successfully launched its 68th Electron rocket to deploy a single satellite to space for a confidential commercial customer. The ‘Symphony In The Stars’ mission lifted-off from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 in Mahia, New Zealand on June 28th (7:08 p.m./07:08 UTC) to deploy a single spacecraft to a 650km circular Earth orbit. The mission was the first of two dedicated launches for the new customer on Electron booked less than four months ago, with a second mission scheduled before the end of 2025. The mission was the second of two launches from the same launch site in less than 48 hours, a new launch record for the Company as it continues to deliver dedicated, repeatable and reliable access to space for satellite operators. Rocket Lab Founder and CEO, Sir Peter Beck, says, “Electron has demonstrated once again that it is the gold standard for responsive and reliable space access for small satellites.
