Revised Chepstow Raceday Conference Programme

November 3, 2025 by

03 Nov 11. It is with great regret that the organisers of the Chepstow Drone Racing Day due to be held on November 4th have had to cancel the event due to adverse weather warnings. The Conference and C-UAS equipment demonstrations will continue on November 5th as usual with an adjusted Programme as below.

Major Karl Eze, Head of British Army Drone Racing said, “Adverse rain and wind forecasts for Tuesday, due to the residue of Hurricane Benjamin, has made it impossible to run our races. The lack of visibility would have made it difficult and dangerous to run the races and comply with drone racing rules.”

It is with great regret that the organisers of the Chepstow Drone Racing Day due to be held on November 4th have had to cancel the event due to adverse weather warnings. The Conference and C-UAS equipment demonstrations will continue on November 5th as usual with an adjusted Programme which will be sent tomorrow.

“The British Army Drone Racing Team is committed to making an annual Welsh Drone Racing event with multiple teams, and we look forward to next year.”

Brig (Retd) Ian Cameron-Mowat, Chairman of the Protecting Critical Infrastructure Conference said, “The ability to fly live drones and demonstrate counter-drone systems have to contend with was an added bonus for our C-UAS conference, where we look forward to welcoming everyone on Wednesday. On key change is that our Keynote speaker, First Secretary of the Ukraine Embassy, Mr Denys Demko, will now be giving his paper on ‘Drone Operations in Ukraine’ at 1600 after racing.”

Julian Nettlefold of BATTLESPACE said, “I must thank everyone involved in planning the first Chepstow drone racing event for 2025. It’s a huge shame that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ve had to slip it for a year. Watch this space for our plans in 2026, which I can promise will be a thrilling event as well as raising thousands for our charities.”
