ON THIS DAY

May 13, 2012 by

02 May 12. For the third consecutive year, Northrop Grumman Corporation has been honored by CivilianJobs.com as a 2012 Most Valuable Employer (MVE) for Military®. Northrop Grumman is among 45 companies to be recognized by CivilianJobs.com, an increase from 35 companies last year. The winners were selected based on surveys in which the company outlined its recruiting, training and retention plans that best serve military service members and veterans.
“Northrop Grumman supports and is proud of our military veterans,” said Wes Bush, chairman, chief executive officer and president, Northrop Grumman Corporation. “The values fundamental to the military—such as integrity, duty, responsibility—positively translate into what we do. American military veterans are equipped to succeed, and do, at Northrop Grumman.”
“The number of companies that CivilianJobs.com recognizes today as Most Valuable Employers has increased each year of the award,” said Sandra (Sandy) Morris, CEO, Bradley-Morris, Inc., parent company of CivilianJobs.com. “This trend, where more employers are focusing their resources on the hiring and retaining of military, is one to celebrate. I congratulate each of these companies on their recognition.”
According to CivilianJobs.com, the 2012 Most Valuable Employers for Military® was open to all U.S.-based companies. In addition to being recognized in the May issue of Civilian Job News, CivilianJobs.com’s worldwide military base newspaper, winning employers are also displayed on the CivilianJobs.com website.
