The interoperability of Northrop Grumman Corporation’s family of multi-intelligence ground stations with a variety of airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) sensors was successfully demonstrated recently. During a Combined Joint Task Force Exercise sponsored by the U.S. Joint Forces Command at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina between June 12 and June 21, the Army’s Tactical Exploitation System (TES) received imagery and other data
from sensors on an Air Force U-2, an Air Force Joint STARS, and a Navy
F/A-18, and rapidly processed it for use by warfighters in efficiently
directing simulated battlefield engagements.
14 Jul 04. BAE Systems is introducing the HHC100TM Series of high-performance handheld thermal imagers. The HHC100 Series, developed by BAE Systems Information & Electronic Warfare Systems, provides the law enforcement professional with a self-contained, lightweight handheld thermal imager, capable of providing enhanced day/night situational awareness independent of darkness, smoke, and other common obscurants. The ability of the HHC100 Series to provide high resolution imagery through these common obscurants reduces their effectiveness as a means of visual concealment, greatly improving officer/agent effectiveness and safety.
