20 Sep 05. Northrop Grumman’s board of directors has elected Jerry B. Agee, 62, corporate vice president and president of the company’s Mission Systems sector. Agee, an 18-year veteran of the company assumes his new position immediately. He was named acting president in August of this year. Agee will report to Ronald D. Sugar, Northrop Grumman’s chairman, chief executive officer and president.
20 Sep 05. Northrop Grumman Corporation announced that Stephen E. Frank, former chairman, president and chief executive officer of Southern California Edison, has been elected to the company’s board of directors. Northrop Grumman’s board now totals 11 members, 10 of whom are non- employee directors.
26 Aug 05. Meyerrose nominated as CIO of national intelligence office. The White House has announced that Air Force Maj. Gen. Dale Meyerrose will be nominated to serve as the first CIO of the newly created Office of the Director of National Intelligence, headed by John Negroponte. (Source:GCN)
18 Sep 05. The Boeing Company has appointed two senior executives in Saudi Arabia to further strengthen its operations and partnerships in the Kingdom.
Ahmed Jazzar takes up the new position of president, Boeing – Saudi Arabia. He will coordinate all Boeing activities and company strategy to pursue growth in the Kingdom. He also will focus on strengthening local-market presence and profile. Sales and marketing responsibilities will remain with the business units – Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Integrated Defense Systems, Connexion by
Boeing and Boeing Capital Corporation. Jazzar will support the sales
teams as they conduct their campaigns in the Kingdom. Michael Probasco has been appointed president of Boeing Middle East Limited (BMEL) succeeding Marcus Hurley. BMEL is based in Riyadh and represents the company’s Integrated Defense Systems business unit.
19 Sep 05. The Executive Committee of EADS has appointed Christian Duhain (55) as the new Head of EADS International, the corporate marketing organisation of EADS. Duhain succeeds Jean-Paul Gut who was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) for marketing, international and strategy last June.
19 Sep 05. Jeremy Greaves has joined the London office of EADS UK, the aerospace group and Airbus parent company. As vice-president communications & public relations, he will report to Robin Southwell, chief executive of EADS UK, and to senior vice-president corporate communications, Christian Poppe in Munich.Mr Greaves joins from the UK communications office of Lockheed Martin, the US defence contractor.
