10 Feb 04. Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Integrated Systems sector has named Wendell D. Bugg director of communications. He reports to Scott Seymour, president, Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems. Bugg, who previously managed the corporate affairs and communications department for American Honda Motor Co., joined the company in December 2003. In his new position, he is responsible for providing strategic and tactical communication programs that support Integrated Systems’ marketing and growth strategies.

The heads of some of the largest defense contractors in the U.S. said Wednesday that they must be allowed to hire Defense Department employees in order to meet the needs of the company’s customer, the U.S. military. Further, the industry leaders said during a panel discussion that the industry faces a lack of new scientists and hurdles to developing programs quickly and to selling technology overseas.

Kyle to the position of President, Power Products Division and Vice President, Stewart & Stevenson Services, Inc., reporting to Max Lukens, Chairman of the Board and Interim President and Chief Executive Officer. The Power Products Division sells and rents various industrial equipment; sells components, replacement parts, accessories and other materials supplied by independent manufacturers; and provides in-shop and on-site repair services for industrial, transportation, marine, construction, power generation, and material handling equipment.
