Linköping. The reason for the notice is a reduction in employment due to a reduced workload on the development side.
28 May 03. Robert F. Wood has been named director, business and strategy development for Airborne Early Warning Programs by Northrop Grumman Corporation’s (NYSE: NOC) Integrated Systems sector. He joins the sector’s Airborne Early Warning and Electronic Warfare Systems business area based in Bethpage, N.Y. In his new position, Wood will be in charge of developing new
and expanded domestic and international business opportunities for the
company’s E-2C Hawkeye airborne early warning and control system, which
is operated by the United States, Egypt, France, Japan, Singapore and
Taiwan. He will operate from offices in Bethpage and Washington, D.C.
May 03. NATO’s Defence Planning Committee today announced its agreement to a request from President Bush to appoint Admiral Edmund P. Giambastiani, Jr., US Navy, as Supreme Allied Commander, Transformation. The appointment will become effective at a future date, to be determined, following final decisions on NATO’s military command arrangements to be taken by NATO. Defence Ministers in June 2003. Admiral Giambastiani is currently serving as the Commander, United States Joint Forces Command.
