08 Mar 26. Iran has named Mojtaba Khamenei the country’s new supreme leader following the killing of his father Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in US-Israeli strikes on February 28, the state-run media announced early Monday. Mojtaba Khamenei, the second son of the former supreme leader, has been elevated to the position his father held for nearly four decades until his death in US-Israeli air strikes. He now sits atop a system badly weakened after the 88-member Assembly of Experts did what many Iranians had hoped it would never do, turning the Islamic Republic into a dynasty. (Source: CNN)

Babcock Australasia Chief Executive Officer Andrew Cridland has resigned from his role after more than a decade at the company, to pursue other interests and prioritise time with his family. Babcock Australasia Chief of Staff Leah Grantham has been appointed as Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
