11 Nove 25. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the UAE Ministry of Defence announced its full readiness to host the 12th edition of the Dubai International Air Chiefs Conference (DIACC) on 16 November 2025, under the theme “Hypersonic Edge”.
The 12th edition represents the largest gathering of air force chiefs and commanders since the conference’s inception in 2003, bringing together more than 100 official delegations.
Major General Rashed Mohamed Alshamsi, Commander of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence, said that all preparations for the event, scheduled one day prior to the opening of the Dubai Airshow 2025, have been completed. He affirmed that the conference serves as a global platform for strategic insights, offering senior air force leaders, military decision-makers, and defence manufacturers an opportunity to address the evolving challenges of modern air and space defence amid rapid technological advancements.
He also highlighted that the event reflects the UAE’s commitment to comprehensive military readiness, defence coordination, and joint operational environments that enhance regional and global security. “The Dubai International Air Chiefs Conference 2025 is not just a military event, as it is a council for air and air defence forces shaping the future of air and space superiority, while exploring strategic deterrence tools in an era of rapid transformation.”
He added: “What distinguishes this conference is its ability to present and discuss future operational challenges with an exceptional group of global air force leaders, exploring practical insights and solutions within an international platform defined by cooperation, mutual trust, and professional camaraderie.”
This year’s theme reflects future operational concepts for airpower, emphasizing readiness, technological superiority, and multi-domain integration across increasingly complex battlespaces. The 12th edition comes at a pivotal time, as the world witnesses unprecedented acceleration in hypersonic systems, artificial intelligence, and unmanned aerial technologies, creating a new reality that demands readiness and rapid adaptability.

11 Nov 25. Rostec to Unveil the Yak-130M and the Domestically Produced Ansat-M at Dubai Airshow 2025. The International Aerospace Exhibition will be held on November 17-21 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Rostec State Corporation will showcase dozens of samples of its products at the Dubai Airshow 2025 International Aerospace Exhibition. The upgraded Yak-130M jet trainer and combat aircraft and the domestically produced Ansat-M helicopter will be presented abroad for the first time. In addition, the Su-57E fifth-generation Russian fighter jet will make its debut in the Middle East and take part in the flying display. The Yak-130M aircraft produced by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) features a new aviation weapons system and airborne equipment. The upgraded aircraft is designed for the training of pilots of fourth- and fifth-generation fighters, as well as for strike and fighter missions as a light combat aircraft. The introduction of new airborne systems will enable the Yak-130M to operate both in the daytime and at night in any conditions, and will expand its combat capabilities. The event will also mark the world premiere of the domestically produced version of the Ansat-M light multipurpose helicopter built by Russian Helicopters, with Russian VK-650V engines produced by United Engine Corporation. The aircraft, which made its maiden flight this autumn, features an upgraded fuselage, a new powerplant and airborne systems. The helicopter is highly maneuverable and has the most spacious cabin in its class. It can perform a wide range of tasks, including in dense urban areas. The capabilities of Russia’s most advanced aircraft systems, namely the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter and the Ka-52 reconnaissance and attack helicopter, will also be showcased in the skies over Dubai. Thanks to a coaxial rotor configuration, the Ka-52 is unique in terms of its maneuverability, as it can quickly turn towards the target, and is capable of high-speed lateral movement and steep dives. In turn, the Su-57E aircraft will perform an aerobatic display. It is the world’s only fifth-generation fighter that has proven its efficiency in large-scale combat operations. It is capable of using a wide range of precision guided weapons and is characterized by low visibility to enemy radars.
“Dubai Airshow is one of the key global venues where current trends in aviation and defense are shaped. As always, we have something to show and offer to the global community, in both the military and civilian segments. I am sure that there will even be a number of surprises, as this year we will unveil several products that are new for the Middle East. These include the new Ansat with a Russian-made powerplant, the upgraded Yak-130M, and, of course, the Su-57, which has proven its status as a fifth-generation fighter in real-world combat conditions. The advantages of our aircraft include the fact that they do not rely on foreign components, as well as their state-of-the-art performance characteristics, and an extensive track record of their operation, which speaks for itself. This is why our airplanes and helicopters are sought after in many countries around the world,” said Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation.
The Il-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft and the Ka-32A11M transport helicopter will also be on static display.
In addition, participants and visitors to the exhibition will be shown next-generation aircraft engines, air defense systems, navigation systems and airborne equipment. A wide range of modern and next-generation munitions, such as unguided and guided air-launched missiles, as well as powerful bombs, including high-explosive fragmentation bombs and bunker-busting bombs, will be presented. The Dubai Airshow 2025 International Aerospace Exhibition will be held on November 17–21 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Russian display will feature exhibits from the leading groups of companies of Rostec State Corporation, such as the United Aircraft Corporation, Russian Helicopters, United Engine Corporation, High-Precision Systems, KRET, etc. (Source: ASD Network)
