Mehdi Bouchenak, CEO, Safran Emarat Ltd. |With an extensive experience of 15 years in the Defense & Aerospace industry, Mehdi joined Safran in 2016 as Middle East Regional Director in charge of the Helicopter Engines– Support Division. In October 2022, he was appointed General Manager of SAFRAN Middle East and Regional General Delegate based in UAE (Abu Dhabi). Previously, Mehdi held various senior occupations in France at Thales Defense & Security, Avisa Partners, and also in Qatar as Chief Operating Office at ITQAN Technologies. Mehdi took a leap in his career as an entrepreneur in 2007 by founding Keawell Associates – a Consulting Firm. Mehdi Bouchenak is also a Board Member of the French Chamber of Commerce in the UAE and has been appointed in July 2023 by the French Prime Minister as French Trade Advisor of France. Mehdi Boucehank holds a Master Degree in Economics (Paris Dauphine University PSL), and a Master Degree in Defense & Industrial Dynamics (Paris Panthéon-Assas University). In 2007, he enrolled a PhD Research Fellow Program at National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Economic Science.
