20 May 21. Close Combat 21 Online Symposium 7 July 21. Facilitated by Cranfield Defence and Security, in association with, Cap GM, HQ Army.
Save the Date and Initial Call for Papers
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and uncertainty surrounding the likely situation in early July, including international travel regulations that might affect exhibitors, presenters and delegates, we have taken the decision to hold CC21 as an online and virtual event on 7 July.
As usual, the aim remains to bring together the military, academia and industry in order to discuss current and future developments in close combat technologies, procedures and the equipment programmes.
The event will be held online and hosted from the Grenville-Turner AV Studio at Cranfield University. Cap GM will present on the implications of the Integrated Review. Other presentations from industry and academia will follow. These will conclude with a Q&A panel session.
Call for Papers
If you wish to present a paper please Submit an Abstract of around 200 words by e-mail to Leanne no later than Friday 11 June 2020. Papers should be planned to take 20 minutes followed by 10 minutes for questions.
