12 May 21. CYDES 2021 – Rescheduled. The Government has decided to reschedule CYDES 2021, from 1st to 3rd June 2021 to the 28th to 30th June to an end on the 7th of June 2021. By rescheduling the dates to 28th to 30th June 2021, all parties involved in CYDES 2021 will have a good 2 weeks before the start of the event. Further on that, should the Government impose an extension which is normally 2 weeks, we will still be okay to proceed with the event as MCO 3.0 extension of 2 weeks from the 7th of June 2021 will conclude on 21st of June 2021. This will still give us all one week grace period before the commencement of CYDES 2021.
Based on the projections and calculations as well as data analytics by the Government (provided all SOPs are adhered to), the COVID-19 situation should be under control by then. Nonetheless, should this not be the case and the Government extends the MCO 3.0 beyond these news dates, the Government and Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd has reached a decision that we will then go fully virtual. There will be an official announcement by the National Security Council (NSC) and NACSA ASAP. We will ensure we send you a copy.
