30 Jul 20. Shephard leadership team completes MBO. The team that leads Shephard Media successfully completed a management buyout (MBO) of Shephard Press Ltd on 29 July 2020. Shephard Media is pleased to announce that the management team, led by CEO Darren Lake, has acquired the Shephard Press Ltd from its owner Nicholas Prest. The change in ownership lays the foundations for further investment and growth for the company, which leads the sector in delivering digital marketing and business information services to the defence community.
‘I am pleased to announce that we have acquired Shephard Media and want to thank Nick Prest for his support and guidance in getting us to this stage. The management team believes in the future of the company and we are investing in that,’ said Lake.
