The event organiser stated: “We will now be hosting the summit in December 2020 with the exact date to be confirmed in the coming weeks. Brigadier General Van Wagenen took up his role as Deputy Chief of Staff Operations at Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps in November 2019. He Commissioned into Armor in 1991 and has served in a wide variety of positions through the United States, Europe and Asia, and has been deployed on multiple Combat assignments.

Brigadier General Van Wagenen assumed post of DCOS-Ops AARC in November 2019 – prior to this he was DCG 3rd (UK) Division and DCG 1CD Ft Hood, Texas. He also holds a Master degree in Military Studies.
