22 Jan 20. EUROSATORY 2020. The leading international land and airland Defence and Security exhibition, Eurosatory is a biennial trade fair that takes place in even-numbered years in The Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte – France. The 2020 edition will be held from June 8 to 12. Discover below some new things about the event.
Always more participants
Eurosatory is the world’s largest equipment fair for the armed forces, the police, firefighters, civil security, customs and private security.
In 2020, the organiser COGES expects 1,800+ exhibitors and over 98,000 attendees from five continents. For the 2020 event, national pavilions of Belgium, Australia, Switzerland, Germany and Scandinavian countries have already increased their exhibiting surface. Lithuanian industries will exhibit for the first time under national pavilion.
Over 200 international high-level delegations are invited to the exhibition from more than 90 countries and international organisations like EU, NATO, UN and OSCE as well as numerous VIP experts: national technical experts, corporate safety directors of private companies and others.
Innovation is highlighted more than ever
In 2020, numerous life-size equipment and systems will be on display. Over 500 new products never exhibited at a show and systems are expected to be unveiled for the attendees. Companies, from large groups to SMEs will be featured on more than 80,000 sqm of indoor and outdoor exhibition area.
In addition to big companies and SMEs, about 80 start-ups will be gathered in a specially designed start-ups areas called Eurosatory LAB and cluster GENERATE at GICAT’s stand. They will present their solutions alongside with big companies.
As Eurosatory makes some changes at every edition, in 2020, new dedicated areas will be featured like Safe City, Medical equipment and others.
Larger and interesting events programme
Attendees of Eurosatory exhibition take advantage of the opportunity to learn about the latest developments and main trends in defence technologies by visiting live demonstrations available outdoors, a real specificity of the show. There, products and equipment are presented in real situations. In addition to exhibiting companies, foreign and French institutional bodies (police, firefighters, intervention groups…) will take part in the live demonstrations.
Over 70 conferences and exhibitor pitches are organised all along 5 days of the exhibition with the presence of over 250 speakers. High-level experts, senior military, government and industry figures will discuss there a rich variety of strategic issues.
Always more business
Eurosatory is the place to be for doing business. Everything at the show is designed for participants’ ROI. For the 2020 edition, in addition to business consulting, Eurosatory offers multiple networking services. A 1 to 1 networking service is available for individuals with the official mobile application and on the website of the event. It allows to participants to connect with each other, to find a participant with the same interests or to find a connexion by a topic.
In addition to the networking between individuals, the trade fair provides a business meetings service. It’s dedicated to business of manufacturers and it’s an excellent tool for connection on company level: between contractors and buyers.
Thus, at Eurosatory exhibition, everyone, from individual to the big company will find interesting contacts and links for developing its business.
20 Jan 20. ADS is partnering with UK Strategic Command to launch Integrated Warrior, the UK Defence’s new high-level defence experimentation programme, 10 February. Integrated Warrior (IW) is the brand name for co-ordinated high-level activity around the new Defence Experimentation Pathway – a cornerstone of Defence’s new approach to Force Development. IW is all about creating an Information Age partnership between Defence, Industry and Academia to shape future concepts and capabilities and provide the evidence to inform strategies, force structures and balance of investment decisions.
