21 May 15. This year, DSEI 2015 will host four high-level conferences focused on the future strategy of maritime defence, rotorcraft technology, front line medical services, and lessons learnt from the recent Ebola epidemic.
When: The one-day Strategic Conferences will take place during DSEI on Monday 14 September 2015 (Day Zero) and Tuesday 15 September (Day One).
Where: The International Convention Centre (ICC), East Entrance, ExCeL London.
The Strategic Conferences will be open to the entire international defence and security community with free attendance for members of the military and accredited media.

The First Sea Lord/RUSI International Sea Power Conference
Date: Monday 14 September 2015 (Day Zero)

Keynote: Admiral Sir George Zambellas, First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff, Royal Navy, UK
The First Sea Lord/RUSI International Sea Power Conference will provide a platform for exploring thinking from across the globe on the strategic responsibilities fulfilled by navies in the contemporary and future maritime environment.
It will provide an excellent conceptual component to the already strong maritime element at DSEI 2015, which will include visiting naval vessels and waterborne demonstrations.

Future of Military Rotorcraft: 2030 and beyond

Trauma Innovation

Developed in partnership with Defence Medical Service, Trauma Innovation provides the opportunity for cutting edge trauma developments to be presented in a conference setting the day before the main DSEI Exhibition starts.
Topics include:
* Legacy of Conflict- this examines how key current clinical challenges are being tackled
* Future Conflict- considers the challenges of medical support in the future, including sustaining and improving outcomes with extended clinical time lines
* Conflict Research- an opportunity for academic institutes, at the very forefront of clinical advances, to present their latest research developments in trauma
