EXHIBITIONS AND CONFERENCES

The International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), in collaboration with the General Command of the Armed Forces and in coordination with the Supreme Committee for IDEX and the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition (ADNEC), announced the Future Defence Summit. The three day Future Defence Summit, which begins on February 21st and will run alongside of IDEX 2015, enables attendees to establish and strengthen relationships with government departments, businesses and armed forces throughout the region, and listen to key influencers speak on hot topics currently affecting the industry. On the occasion, Saleh Al Marzooqi, CEO of IDEX said, “IDEX is always in search of the best global partners to provide the best experience for exhibitors and attendees, the Future Defence Summit is the ideal platform for this endeavor. Since its inception, IDEX has shown unrivaled growth in both the number of exhibitors, and the number of attendees. To keep pace with its development, and in our endeavor to provide a bigger better show, we seek to hold new agreements worthy of the next phase of the remarkable development of the show.” The Future Defence Summit will feature dignitaries, key decision makers from defense ministries, and Chiefs of Staff from all over the world. The summit will also attract major companies and institutions involved in defence. IDEX 2015 and the Future Defence Summit will push the continued growth of the defence industry not only in the UAE, but globally. IDEX 2015 will take place on February 22nd – 26th, the Future Defence Summit will begin one day prior on February 21st, and run for three days during IDEX.
