The Association of the United States Army’s Institute of Land Warfare, with participation from the U.S. Army Pacific and the U.S. Pacific Command, presents the inaugural LANPAC Symposium and Exposition at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii, from 9-11 April 2013. The theme for this year’s event is “Land Forces: Assuring Stability and Security in the Pacific.” This world-class international event, highlighting the role of land forces in the Asia-Pacific theater in peace and war, will leverage the strategic location of Hawaii to bring together international government and industry representatives from our allies in the Asia-Pacific theater.
AUSA leadership has announced there is no charge for U.S. military personnel or government civilians to attend the professional development sessions at LANPAC.

05 Mar 13. Preparations are under way for the fifth Annual Warrior Competition, organised by the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) and the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre (KASOTC). This year, 30 international teams from 17 countries will compete in the five-day event, which started on March 24, a KASOTC statement said on Tuesday. The competition, which will take place at the KASOTC, showcases the skills of counter-terrorism teams and special forces, the statement said. (Source: Jordan Times)
