28 May 04. ITT Industries will highlight the company¹s innovative tactical communications, night vision and communications support solutions at Eurosatory. Specific initiatives company executives will address include, the newest members of ITT¹s tactical communications family, the Battlefield Tactical Communications System (BTCS). ITT Industries is the only contractor with a major role in the world’s two largest digitization programs: the U.S. Tactical Internet and the BOWMAN program currently being fielded in the U.K. The BOWMAN-derived BTCS is composed of VHF radios for vehicular, manpack, handheld and airborne domains as well as a UHF wideband networking radio for backbone communications.
