This contract exercises their option as a separate contract to include 253 advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air-Missiles Air Intercept Missile (AIM)-120 missiles among them 162 USAF, 42 USN, 15 USA, and 334 FMS associated missile warranties, 5 Lots Spares, 28 NDI-AIUs. Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control, Orlando, Fla., is being warded a $81,146,915 firm fixed price contract to provide for Precision Attack Navigation and Targeting for Extended Range Acquisition Pods and associated support for FMS requirements: 22 each for Poland and 7 each for Oman. At this time, $24,344,07 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete by May 2005. 22 Dec 03. ITT Avionics, Clifton, N.J., is being awarded a $133,272,160 firm fixed price, Time and Materials contract. This requirement is for Foreign Military Sales of the AN/ALQ-173 (V) Advanced Integrated Defense Electronics Warfare to the country of Poland. This Electronic Warfare system will be used on the F-16 aircraft being procured under separate acquisition by the F-16 program office. Associated spares, support equipment, training, engineering services, flight test support and data are also being acquired under this contract. At this time, $66,636,080 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete by June 2008. Approximately 3% of this effort supports foreign military sales to the United Kingdom. The locations of performance are: McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif. 07 Jan 04. Lockheed Martin has won a contract from the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to further develop and demonstrate the first system capable of destroying multiple ballistic missile threats and decoys with a single launch. The system will carry multiple small kill vehicles that will destroy adversarial missiles and decoys by colliding with them in space. The eight-year contract is valued at approximately $760m; the initial 11-month contract is valued at $27 million. The U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala., manages the program for the MDA.
