Wrap Technologies, Inc. has received a purchase order from Advanced Blast & Ballistic Systems Group (ABBS) for a pre-order of 20 MERLIN-1 counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) platforms for the UK public safety market. The MERLIN-1 is a modular, non-lethal drone-mounted payload developed to entangle and neutralise hostile drones mid-flight. It is designed to provide agencies, critical infrastructure operators and security stakeholders with a safe and scalable option for rapidly evolving drone threats. Babcock International Group (Babcock) has agreed a two‑year extension to the Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP) contract with the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), ensuring the continued delivery of vital fleet and infrastructure support for the Royal Navy’s surface ships – capability that remains critical to the UK’s operational readiness. The agreement maintains the full scope of the existing FMSP contract, covering ship engineering delivery and management for Type 23 frigates, amphibious warfare ships, Sandown minehunters and landing craft vessels. This work continues to be delivered primarily through Babcock’s facilities at Devonport and Rosyth, where highly skilled teams provide the expertise, infrastructure and industrial capability required to keep the Royal Navy mission‑ready.

Auterion Airlogix JV Gets First German Contract for Autonomous Strike SystemsGermany has signed a cooperation agreement with Ukraine enabling Auterion Airlogix Joint Venture GmbH to begin its first large-scale production contract for thousands of mid-range, heavy AI-guided autonomous strike systems. The contract covers X-wing and delta-wing unmanned aerial systems manufactured in Germany for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It represents the largest German production order to date for heavy autonomous strike drones. The agreement transforms commitments made at the Munich Security Conference in February 2026 into fully funded, industrial-scale production—reaching thousands of units annually. These systems are designed for contested, GPS-denied environments and combine combat-proven Ukrainian airframes with Auterion’s advanced AI guidance, autonomous navigation, and electronic warfare resilience software. For Ukraine, the deal secures a steady supply of European-manufactured autonomous strike systems, backed by German industrial capacity. For Germany’s armed forces, it provides a rapid pathway to deploying combat-tested autonomous technologies at scale, integrated into Western command systems from the outset. 10 Apr 26. The Netherlands Ministry of Defence has purchased an additional Patriot system from Raytheon to expand its air defence capabilities. The contract concerns the delivery of a Patriot Fire Unit, which consists of, among other things, a radar, a fire control centre and multiple launch installations. The agreement also includes spare parts and a logistical reserve. The contract aligns with an earlier purchase in early 2025 and serves as a direct supplement to it. GomSpace, leading manufacturer and supplier of small satellites, announces that it has secured a 5.5 MEUR (60 MSEK) follow-on contract from Unseenlabs, for the delivery of additional microsatellites. The satellites are expected to be delivered by the end of 2027 and will support Unseenlabs’ continued expansion of its maritime surveillance and radio-frequency intelligence services.This contract follows the last ATP announcement from March 31 and the initial microsatellite order signed on December 17, 2024, and represents a continuation of the successful collaboration between the two companies. The new order, GomSpace fifth microsatellite order in the last 24 months, reflects strong execution of the first program and the value of a partnership built on transparency, reliability, and close customer engagement. 13 Apr 26. French Navy Further Expands CAMCOPTER S-100 Fleet. The French Navy, through the French Government defence procurement and technology agency (Direction Générale de l’Armement, DGA) and Naval Group, has ordered five additional CAMCOPTER S-100 systems under the Navy’s unmanned aviation programme. Naval Group, as prime contractor and lead system integrator, will deploy and integrate the systems on the Frégates Européennes Multi-Mission (FREMM) including mission management through the Steeris MS system. Each system consists of two CAMCOPTER S-100 Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV), increasing the French Navy’s total fleet to eight S-100 systems, once deliveries are completed. Dynetics, Huntsville, Alabama, was awarded a $617,164,135 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract for the fiscal 2026 production buy of Indirect Fire Protection Capability Increment Two systems, including launcher systems, retrofit prototype launchers, all-up-round magazines, soldier trainers, weight representative training devices, contractor logistics services, initial spares, and engineering services. Bids were solicited via the internet with zero received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 30, 2029. 10 Apr 26. Gentex Corp., Simpson, Pennsylvania, is awarded a $128,484,849 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the Integrated Helmet Systems. This contract provides for the procurement of Integrated Helmet Systems with associated components and accessories. The ordering period will be a maximum of five years and is expected to be completed in April 2031. Work will be performed in Simpson, Pennsylvania. No funds will be obligated at time of award. 14 Apr 26. Kymeta Government & Defense, the world-leading flat-panel satellite terminal manufacturer, has won a significant contract with the Office for Naval Research (ONR) to further develop its breakthrough multi-band, multi-beam antenna architecture. The three-year development contract from the ONR will enable Kymeta to mature and expedite the research of its world-first innovation – multi-band connectivity with four concurrent full-duplex beams in Ku- and Ka-band frequencies with a single antenna aperture. The technology was first successfully demonstrated in April 2025 and has since been demonstrated to multiple U.S DOD departments and agencies.
10 Apr 26. The U.S. government awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) a multibillion-dollar contract to continue critical accelerated production of PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE). The $4.7 billion undefinitized contract action (UCA) enables Lockheed Martin to advance production acceleration and deliver record numbers of combat-proven interceptors for American and allied forces this year. The contract follows the landmark framework agreement signed with the Department of War (DoW) on Jan. 6 to ramp up PAC-3 MSE production as part of the administration’s Acquisition Transformation Strategy, and a decisive step that gives our warfighters an unmatched defensive shield.

The Pentagon has awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) a 10-year, sole-source, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract worth up to $1.9 billion to continue the C-130J Maintenance and Aircrew Training System (MATS) program. The C-130J MATS IV IDIQ contract enables the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center to continue providing a comprehensive range of aircrew and maintenance training devices and training support services to C-130J aircrews and maintainers, including courseware, operations, interim and contractor logistics support and engineering services.
16 Apr 26. Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has been awarded a contract worth up to $105 million by the U.S. Space Force to continue modernizing and sustaining the Global Positioning System (GPS) ground control network. This will support resilient positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services from the GPS constellation for military and civilian users. The new contract expands on a decade of work under the Space Force’s Architecture Evolution Plan, during which Lockheed Martin has steadily modernized the GPS ground segment. Under the agreement, the company will support launch, early orbit, and disposal operations for GPS IIIF space vehicles. It will also enhance the capabilities and resiliency of the GPS enterprise for military and civilian users who rely on these spacecraft for critical warfighting operations, plus daily functions like transportation, banking or utilities.
14 Apr 26. Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. is being awarded a modification to the active Prototype Project Other Transaction Agreement (HQ0851-22-9-0002) with a value of $475,297,523. This is an increase in dollar value of the current Agreement from $832,778,556 to $1,308,076,079. The Agreement was previously awarded through the Missile Defense Agency’s authority under 10 U.S. Code 4022(a)(2)(B). Under this award, the performer will continue to develop and define its Glide Phase Interceptor design concept with an accelerated schedule. The estimated completion date is June 2028. 15 Apr 26. Textron Aviation Defense continues to support sustainment of more than 700 Beechcraft T-6 Texan II aircraft under a renewed five‑year SEPM contract. First awarded in 2021, the action extends systems engineering and program management services for an additional five years, covering sustaining and systems engineering, program management and support for maintenance, repairs, modifications and integrity programs. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $510,000,000 ceiling, from $240,000,000 ceiling. Work will be performed in Wichita, Kansas.
