19 Mar 26. Babcock awarded UK Ministry of Defence white fleet management contract for the service and management of its white fleet of vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks and specialist vehicles. We’ve been delivering this support to the MOD under the current Phoenix 2 contract since 2016. The new Phoenix 3 contract is valued at c£60 million, with up to five additional one-year options and will sustain c60 jobs across our business.The contract will ensure that the MOD continues to leverage economies of scale to secure best value and efficiency from its white fleet. Babcock will oversee a comprehensive range of responsibilities across both lease and rental vehicles that includes vehicle sourcing and procurement, Service Maintenance and Repair (SMR) management, accident management and the delivery of a bespoke Fleet Management Information System (FMIS) supporting both UK‑based and overseas operations. FMIS manages all of UK MOD’s white fleet vehicles ensuring consistent, compliant, and efficient operations.

19 Mar 26. Serco wins contract to support British Army’s marine assets fleet. Serco, the international provider of critical government services, has been awarded a seven-year contract to provide in-service support for the British Army’s fleet of 512 marine vessels. The Army’s fleet delivers troops, transport equipment and supplies on ship to shore deployments in a range of conditions and Serco will support the Ministry of Defence’s (MOD) Boats Team with maintenance, repair, spares, trials and other associated technical services. Serco’s contract will begin in April 2026, with work carried out at sites in the South of England. More than 140 Mexeflotes, used as landing crafts, causeways or pontoons and for transporting vehicles and equipment to shore, will be maintained through the contract. A fleet of 18 Combat Support Boats, which have a major role in bridging, amphibious and diving operations and several Army Workboats, which enable fuel to be provided to a deployed force via fuel dracones, will also be included.

Cohort, the independent technology group, is pleased to announce that its Portuguese subsidiary EID has been awarded a contract with a value of €42.3M to deliver Integrated Communication Systems (ICS) and Networks to the Portuguese Navy. The systems will be used in the Navy’s new fleet, including Supply and Offshore Patrol Vessels. Delivery will take place over the period to 2029.
12 Mar 26. IDV – Romania signs contract with IDV for additional batch of tactical logistics trucks. In this latest, third batch, the country will receive 860 High Mobility trucks, as part of a wider framework agreement signed with Iveco Defence Vehicles (IDV) in 2019. 13 Mar 26. Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace, Kongsberg, Norway, is awarded a $45,544,458 firm-fixed-price contract for a Naval Strike Missile Coastal Defense System for the Republic of Latvia. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $56,344,728. This contract involves Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Latvia. Work will be performed in Kongsberg, Norway (63%); Kangasala, Finland (9%); Turin, Italy (9%); Andøya, Norway (3%); Billingstad, Norway (2%); Vigrestad, Norway (1%); Hvidovre, Denmark (1%); Cambridge, United Kingdom (1%); and various locations all less than 1% (11%), and is expected to be completed by July 2030. 23 Mar 26. Cohort, the independent technology group, is pleased to announce that its Australian subsidiary EM Solutions has been awarded a contract with a value of AU$21.7m, approximately £11.5m, to deliver its Cobra and King Cobra satellite communications terminals to the Portuguese Navy. The terminals will be used in the mid-life upgrade for the Vasco da Gama-class frigates, as well as a number of new-build programmes. Delivery will take place over the period to 2030. The contract will come under the M-Frigate Users Group (MFG), an international cooperative structure, with the Netherlands acting as the contracting authority on behalf of the Portuguese Navy.

25 Mar 26. BAE Systems. The UK Government has reached a major defence agreement with the Republic of Türkiye to provide training and support equipment and services for its recently ordered Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. Under the contract, BAE Systems will deliver spares and support equipment, associated engineer and pilot training, high-fidelity training simulators and electronic warfare capabilities. In addition, BAE Systems will provide technical support services for an initial three-year term from entry into service of the aircraft. The contract will support the Turkish Armed Forces to deliver operational readiness and effectiveness and progressively increase the nation’s sovereign support capability.

Smart Shooter, a designer, developer, and manufacturer of innovative fire control systems, announced that it has received its first order from the U.S. Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401) for its SMASH 2000LE fire control systems. The base contract, valued at approximately $2.4 million, includes the supply of SMASH 2000LE fire control systems, along with associated spare parts and training. The contract also includes options for additional systems, spare parts, and training valued at approximately $2.3 million. This order marks Smart Shooter’s first contract with JIATF-401, further expanding the company’s activity with the U.S. Department of War and enabling U.S. military services to acquire SMASH fire control systems, including SMASH 2000LE, SMASH X4, and SMASH Hopper 5000, through the task force’s Market-Place acquisition channel. Raytheon, Tucson, Arizona is being awarded a noncompetitive fixed-price-incentive-fee modification (HQ0851-24-C-0001), definitizing two previously announced undefinitized contract actions (P00008 and P00014) for Standard Missile (SM-3) Block IB production. 23 Mar 26. EOS has received an Indian order for a single R800 naval remote weapon station (RWS). The order valued at between A$1-2 million (US$700,000-1.4 million) was placed by a large, established Indian prime contractor, and it marks EOS’ first sale into India. According to the Australian company, this is only the second sale of its new, heavy-calibre R800 system to a customer for evaluation. EOS will supply the RWS along with platform/weapon integration services and demonstration/trial support. The company will work with the prime contractor and end-users during 2026-27 to support platform integration and trials. EOS, along with the Indian prime contractor, is targeting an end-user requirement for more than 130 systems. Lockheed Martin Canada has awarded SEA Canada, part of SEA Group, a Cohort plc Group company, a multi-year contract to support Lockheed Martin in the project implementation phase of the River-class Destroyer (RCD) program. Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is leading the RCD program and is supported by Lockheed Martin Canada and a consortium of partners across Canada. 18 Mar 26. SEA, part of the Cohort plc Group, has been awarded contract with Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) to provide in-country training and support to the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN).
