TT Electronics, a global provider of mission-critical power and sensing technology, today confirmed its continued, long-term involvement in the Eurofighter Typhoon program, specifically supporting the recent major defence agreement between the UK and Turkey. 02 Dec 25. IDV will supply an additional 658 tactical-logistic trucks to the Italian Army, extending the original contract signed in 2024 for 1,453 vehicles. The contract will renew and modernise the Italian Army’s fleet of tactical-logistic vehicles and further strengthen its logistic capabilities by increasing the total number of trucks to 2,111 units, with deliveries planned through 2039. The additional vehicles will be based on the new range of IDV standard military trucks in a variety of logistic platforms including material transport trucks, water and fuel tankers, container carriers, recovery vehicles and towing systems. Cummins Power Generation Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota, was awarded a $500,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the production and minor modification of 500-kilowatt skid mobile electric power generator sets and power plants in support of Foreign Military Sales to Poland. 28 Nov 25. Norway orders M3 from GDELS. The Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency NDMA and General Dynamics European Land Systems–Bridge Systems have today signed a contract for the delivery of the M3 amphibious bridge and ferry system. Norway is the third member of the Nordic Defence Cooperation NORDEFCO to procure the M3 after Sweden and Denmark. This latest order will further strengthen interoperability within NATO, as six member states will now use the M3. The amphibious system has established itself as the fastest and most flexible means for wet gap crossing on the market and has already proven its suitability for the northern theater of operations. Only in October, Germany and the United Kingdom, through the Joint Organisation for Armaments Cooperation OCCAR, have ordered a new generation of the M3 to replace their existing fleets.

The order value is approximately SEK 1.4 bn with deliveries 2026-2030. Saab will deliver a third battery of the MSHORAD to the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The system will be integrated by Saab into the JLTV 4×4 vehicles manufactured by Oshkosh.

Israel – Greek lawmakers approved late on Thursday the purchase of 36 PULS rocket artillery systems from Israel for about 650m euros ($757.84m), two officials with knowledge of the issue told Reuters. Greece has said it will spend about 28bn euros ($32.66bn) by 2036 to modernise its armed forces as it emerges from a 2009-2018 debt crisis and tries to keep pace with its historic rival Turkey. 01 Dec 25. Patria – Sweden to procure additional 94 Patria 6×6 vehicles through the CAVS vehicle programme. The Swedish Armed Forces has tasked The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) with procuring an additional order of 94 Patria 6×6 armoured vehicles, known as Pansarterrängbil 300 in Sweden. This order encompasses troop transport, command control (C2), and Medevac variants. The vehicles will be supplied by Patria, with substantial input from Swedish industry. The total value of the contract is approximately SEK 1.5bn, or around 140m in Euros.
02 Dec 25. Saab has received a first order from the Spanish Army for Individual Duel Simulation systems. This entails a mix of supply and services and includes Saab’s advanced infantry soldier systems and exercise control to be used in different units within the Spanish Army. This is the first order within a framework agreement between the Spanish Army and Saab, with a potential maximum total value of approximately EUR 34 m. The agreement includes Saab’s GAMER live training equipment including Personal Detection Devices (PDDs), weapon kits and Manpack-systems. It also includes the option to add further training capabilities. Saab will now establish its training systems in Spain, together with the local partner Tecnobit. This will enable realistic live training at different regiments throughout Spain.

01 Dec 25. Theon International Plc (THEON) announced a framework agreement with the German Bundeswehr for up to 25,000 sets of THEON’s thermal weapon mounted clip-on sights. The contract sees initial firm order of c. 6,000 units and additional options of c. 19,000 units, under a multi-year framework agreement. The signing took place in Koblenz earlier today. It represents the largest procurement of such thermal clip-on sights within the European Union to date and Theon’s largest order for this product to date. THEON will announce its total order intake and options for 2025 on December 10, 2025, following the signing of the already announced OCCAR amendment. THEON intends to assemble the systems in its facilities in Wetzlar, Germany, in line with its continuous local fulfillment strategy and successful expansion of its geographic footprint, having invested into four German companies during the past few years. By securing this contract, THEON has once again prevailed in a competitive tender conducted by the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw). 04 Dec 25. ASFAT – Romania and Türkiye have entered into an agreement for the acquisition of a HISAR-class corvette for the Romanian Naval Forces. The contract was signed by the Romanian Ministry of National Defence, General Directorate for Armaments head brigadier general Ion-Cornel Pleșa, and Military Factory and Shipyard Management (ASFAT) CEO Mustafa İlbaş on 3 December 2025. 28 Nov 25. Navantia – Spain greenlights €3.2bn modernization program for F100 frigates. Spain has approved a major mid-life modernization program for its F100 Álvaro de Bazán-class frigates, which form an important part of the Spanish Navy’s surface fleet. As disclosed, the Council of Ministers has authorised the signing of the execution order for the upgrade effort, valued at €3.2bn and expected to run for ten years. The F100 class marked a major technological milestone for European shipbuilding. The frigates, which are 147 meters long with a beam of 18.6 meters and a full-load displacement of approximately 6,000 tons, are the first in Europe to integrate the Aegis combat management system with the AN/SPY-1D radar, forming the core of their area-air defense capability. Armament includes a 48-cell Mk 41 vertical launch system capable of deploying SM-2 and ESSM missiles, a 5-inch/54 Mk 45 Mod 2 naval gun, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, torpedo tubes for Mk 46 or Mk 54 lightweight torpedoes, and a close-in weapons suite featuring the Meroka CIWS. The frigates also carry an SH-60B or MH-60R helicopter for extended anti-submarine and surface warfare missions. Delivered between 2002 and 2012, the five F100 frigates are approaching the midpoint of their operational life. The work will be carried out at Navantia’s Ría de Ferrol shipyard, generating an estimated annual impact of €215 m on Spain’s GDP and supporting around 3,500 jobs across direct, indirect, and induced employment. 04 Dec 25. Babcock France, the defence company, has been awarded a contract to support the French Test Pilot school (EPNER) with a L-39 aircraft – the first for its fleet. The contract, for flight test training, will see the aircraft used for instruction and evaluation sessions, enabling trainees to assess aircraft performance and flying qualities under realistic operational conditions. It also involves target simulation missions for the Direction Générale de l’Armement – Essais en Vol (DGA EV). The L-39 will be used in adversary simulation roles for flight testing and technical missions, including:
- Training of servicing mechanics for DGA EV
- Refresher training for DGA EV mechanics
- Release flights for EPNER instructors and test pilots already qualified on the L-39
03 Dec 25. Leonardo – Austria finalises M-346 deal with Italy. Austria has finalised with Italy the procurement of Leonardo M-346FA (fighter attack) light strike combat and advanced trainer aircraft. Spokesperson of the Austrian Ministry of Defence Michael Bauer confirmed the milestone on 29 November, saying that the EUR1.5bn (USD1.7bn) deal for 12 M-346FAs to replace the air force’s Saab 105s had been signed, including weapons, sustainment, and training. 28 Nov 25. TEKEVER has signed with the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) a new €30m (USD 35m) framework contract for a two year period with possible extensions up to 4 years. TEKEVER will provide two complete systems, each comprising two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAS), to support simultaneous, multi-region deployments across European waters. At the core of this service is TEKEVER’s AR5, a medium-altitude, long-endurance fixed wing UAS, designed for complex maritime scenarios. Capable of flying beyond line of sight, the AR5 platform offers up to 12 hours of endurance in the configuration delivered to EMSA, the AR5 platform supports a modular payload architecture with available options such as electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) cameras, maritime radar, AIS receivers, high capacity SATCOM and EPIRB antennas. 01 Dec 25. Pilatus – The Belgian Government has selected the Pilatus PC-7 MKX Training System as the new training solution for the Belgian Air Force. A fleet of 18 PC-7 MKX plus integrated Ground-Based Training System will replace the existing training aircraft used to provide basic training of military pilots with deliveries scheduled to start in 2027. On November 27, 2025, the Belgian Government approved the award of a comprehensive 20-year service contract to Pilatus to provide training services based on the PC-7 MKX. The comprehensive training solution encompasses not only the 18 aircraft but also advanced ground-based training tools, forming a fully integrated system. The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has awarded the first in a series of awards for the Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling of $151,000,000,000. This first phase of staggered awards is to 1,014 qualifying offerors in accordance with the terms of the solicitation. SHIELD allows MDA and other Department of Defense entities to rapidly compete orders under one flexible enterprise vehicle. Performance will occur across the U.S. This contract encompasses a broad range of work areas that allows for the rapid delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and agility, leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning enabled applications where pertinent, and maximizing use of digital engineering, open systems architectures, model-based systems engineering, and agile processes in the acquisition, development, and sustainment of these capabilities. 03 Dec 25. NAVAIR Selects 4 Vendors to Compete for Drone ISR Basic Ordering Agreements. The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command’s program executive office for unmanned aviation and strike weapons has revealed plans to issue delivery orders under four basic ordering agreements to support land and sea-based unmanned aerial system contractor-owned, contractor-operated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, or ISR, services. What Will NAVAIR’s UAS COCO ISR Services Contracts Cover? According to a pre-solicitation notice published on SAM.gov on Nov. 20, the agreements will require contractors to provide trained personnel, non-developmental UAS platforms, certifications, operations and maintenance, spare parts, and product support. These services are intended to support ISR missions, delivering continuous sensor data and imagery to combatant commands. They will aid U.S. and allied forces in combat and contingency operations, guided by joint urgent operational needs, fleet top-level requirements and other operational directives. 03 Dec 25. AscendArc – SLI (Space Leasing International), has signed heads of agreement for the purchase of two of AscendArc’s next-gen Ka-band satellites with a combined value of over $200 m. This deal is part of a wider partnership that lets AscendArc offer its satellites on leasing terms instead of requiring an outright purchase. Through the SLI finance platform, satellite operators can access the latest technology as operating expenditure rather than capital expenditure. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Arrangement Program, Foreign Military Sales Order II Case/ The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Arrangement Program, Foreign Military Sales Order II Case and related equipment for an estimated cost of $500m. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has requested to buy a Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Arrangement (CLSSA) Foreign Military Sales Order (FMSO) II case to requisition orders for centrally managed spares and repair parts. This case supports the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Corps’ UH-60A/L/M Black Hawk utility helicopters; AH-64A/D/E Apache attack helicopters; CH-47F Chinook cargo helicopters; Schweizer 333 helicopters; and Aerial Scout helicopters; and other related elements of logistics and program support. The estimated total cost is $500m. This proposed sale will support the foreign policy and national security objectives of the United States by improving the security of a partner country that contributes to political stability and economic progress in the Gulf region. The proposed sale will enhance Saudi Arabia’s ability to effectively maintain and operate their U.S.-procured helicopter fleet. This will allow better integration with U.S.-led coalitions and operate independently in support of U.S. interests and the security of U.S. forces in theater and is consistent with U.S. bilateral and multilateral defense plans in the Central Command region. Saudi Arabia will have no difficulty absorbing this equipment into its armed forces. The proposed sale of this equipment and support will not alter the military balance in the region. IAI – The Royal Thai Air Force has selected the BARAK MX air and missile defense system from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) as part of its plan to upgrade national base protection under its Integrated Air Defense System (IADS) program. The procurement contract, valued at 3.44bn baht (approx. $107m), includes one full BARAK MX unit, making it the most advanced air defense asset in Thailand’s arsenal to date. This training will be provided at various CONUS based U.S. Army training sites under sponsorship of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). (TSX: MDA), a trusted mission partner to the rapidly expanding global space industry, announced today it has been awarded a contract by Public Services and Procurement Canada on behalf of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) valued at $44.7 million to procure and deliver critical long lead parts in support of the RADARSAT Constellation Mission (RCM) replenishment satellite development. The Government of Canada further announced its intention to contract MDA Space to build, test, and launch this additional satellite for the RCM. Serco, the international provider of critical services to governments, has been awarded a 25-year contract by SkyAlyne to support its Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). The win is part of Serco’s support of SkyAlyne, of which Serco is a key subcontractor. This project is part of SkyAlyne’s CAN$11bn contract with the RCAF over 25 years. The FAcT contract will be worth CAN$490m (GBP £266m) to Serco over the full 25 years. The Government of Canada officially awarded the FAcT contract to SkyAlyne in late May 2024. FAcT combines three separate RCAF training programs and will modernise and enhance Pilot and Aircrew training, ensuring the next generation of RCAF aviators are prepared for future challenges. As part of FAcT, Serco will provide critical training enablers, including air navigation services, air traffic control, site services, facility maintenance and management, site security and Serco Weather Services. Leveraging its extensive experience in training and facility and asset management, including the deployment of a Computerized Maintenance Management System for FAcT Infrastructure.
