31 Oct 25. Babcock has been awarded a one-year contract extension by the Ministry of Defence to continue delivering electro-mechanical training to the Defence College of Technical Training (DCTT). The Electro-mechanical Training Contract (EMTC2) extension, worth circa £22m, involves the annual delivery of courses to around 5,000 students from the tri-Services. Through the contract, we will continue to provide services such as the design, planning, scheduling and delivery of training, and support to more than 2,500 pieces of equipment – including weapons and tanks, and multi-media development

05 Nov 25. Raytheon UK, part of RTX’s (NYSE: RTX) Raytheon business, has been awarded a contract to provide orbital analysts in support of the UK’s Space Domain Awareness mission. Under the contract, the UK Space Agency will gain access to Raytheon UK’s NORSSTrack software, which enhances orbital analysis and operational responsiveness by mapping and tracking satellites, monitoring potential collisions and debris, assessing re-entries and providing critical data for decision-making. The analysts will be based at a National Space Operations Centre facility at Royal Air Force Base High Wycombe, delivering an analysis and response capability that underpins the UK’s growing leadership in space operations. 03 Nov 25. a4ESSOR S.A.S (Alliance for ESSOR – European Secure Software Defined Radio), a multinational joint venture that develops secure software defined radio (SDR) technology, has signed a procurement contract with the intergovernmental Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR) to carry out the capability deployment of the ESSOR High Data Rate Waveform – EHDRWF. The waveform can be ported to national software-defined radios; through this unique approach, any nation can use its own radio and be interoperable with other nations in their tactical communications. The contract for the so called ESSOR Development Stage #4 (ES4) is valued in excess of 47m EUR. The six nations involved and their respective industry leaders (Finland – Bittium, France – Thales, Germany – Rohde & Schwarz, Italy – Leonardo, Poland – Radmor, Spain – Indra) have then been working to add new features, such as electronic protection measures and support of modern cryptographic standards, leading to several successful interoperability demonstrations and qualification tests and to the adoption of ESSOR High Data Rate Waveform as NATO STANAG 5651 in 2023. Under the new contract, a4ESSOR will design a common mission framework aimed at shared planning capability of network parameters of the EHDRWF. Once implemented in the command-and-control system of each nation, the mission framework will ensure high interoperability at operational level, allowing quick and accurate deployment of multinational EHDRWF networks.
05 Nov 25. Leonardo and Rheinmetall: first contract to supply armoured vehicles for the Italian Army. The temporary grouping of companies Leonardo and Rheinmentall, as part of the Leonardo Rheinmetall Military Vehicles Joint Venture (50% Leonardo and 50% Rheinmetall AG), was awarded the first supply contract for 21 vehicles “A2CS Combat” for the Italian Army. The delivery of the first vehicle is expected by the end of 2025.

05 Nov 25. Theon International Plc (THEON) secured a new order worth over €100 m from a European NATO member state as part of the €300 m framework agreement announced on 17 October. This first tranche of this agreement requires the delivery of several thousands Night Vision Goggles (NVGs), monoculars and binoculars. The deliveries are evenly scheduled for 2026, 2027 and 2028. Additional orders are expected in the short and mid-term under the same agreement, not only for NVGs but also for Thermal clip-ons IRIS-C.
In light of recent announcements, year-to-date order intake has exceeded €370 m, with additional new options amounting to €441 m. Consequently, as of 4 November, the soft backlog – excluding orders invoiced in October – stands at approximately €700 m with total options of c.€720m. (Source: ASD Network)

04 Nov 25. Saab has received an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Agency (FMV) for a new launch system for Gripen C/D and Gripen E. The order value is approximately SEK 1bn. This is a series production order for the launchers which was included as an option within an existing contract for the development and integration of the launcher system. The launch system is used to carry air-to-air missiles and countermeasure pods on Gripen C/D and Gripen E. It is mounted on the aircraft’s weapons pylons and has a sophisticated link between the aircraft and the weapons mounted on the launcher.

04 Nov 25. TT Electronics, a leading provider of global manufacturing solutions and engineered technologies, announces that Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, has awarded the company a $10.3m, multi-year production contract to supply high-reliability power modules and power filter assemblies for a classified U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) program.
Prototypes will be delivered in early 2026, with development and manufacturing taking place at TT Electronics’ facility in Kansas City. The contract strengthens an established partnership between the two companies, positioning both organizations to deliver advanced power electronics solutions for mission-critical defense programs through the next decade.

Neros Technologies has been awarded a multi-m dollar delivery order contract with the United States Department of War in support of the Marine Corps to provide advanced small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) — including kinetic-strike capable FPVs — together with comprehensive operator training and support, across the Fleet Marine Force (FMF) in support of DoW priorities to unleash American drone dominance. The award underscores the Marine Corps’ push to rapidly field combat-proven, American-manufactured drone technologies that ensure asymmetric effects capability by expeditionary combat units—at scale. Allen Control Systems (ACS), a leader in autonomous precision robotics, today announced it has been awarded contracts with the Republic of Korea Armed Forces and United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces to deliver its Bullfrog™ autonomous weapon systems, as well as provide support for operator training, technical assistance, and sustainment. ACS has also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Romanian Armed Forces for local co-production of Bullfrog. ACS is opening regional offices in Asia and Europe to support these markets. 03 Nov 25. DroneShield has received a contract from a reseller that supplies to a government defence customer in Latin America. Equipment will be delivered throughout the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. DroneShield had received seven separate orders from the same reseller between March 2019 and July 2025. 06 Nov 25. Moog Australia, a subsidiary of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B), has signed a contract with Lockheed Martin Australia (LMA) for the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) control actuation system (CAS) development. The contract positions Moog to support a growing portfolio of sovereign capability with Lockheed Martin Australia, the Australian Defence Force (ADF), and the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA). This achievement follows an investment by Moog to bring the guided weapons pathfinder program to the Moog Australia site. GMLRS is a combat-proven, precision-guided rocket deployable by High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and M270 MLRS launchers. Co-located in the U.S. and Australia, the Moog team is preparing plans for a localised pilot production line for GMLRS CAS design. Moog will engage Australian industry to produce key components for existing CAS designs and mitigate program risks. ParaZero Technologies Ltd has secured a new order for its counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) DefendAir system from a customer, referred to by ParaZero as a “Tier 1 Israeli defence corporation”. DefendAir is a multi-layered soft-hard kill C-UAS system that deploys a patented net launcher against hostile drones. Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BISim), a wholly owned subsidiary of BAE Systems, Inc., has been awarded a contract to support the Royal Australian Navy’s Hunter Class frigate program, providing its Virtual Battlespace (VBS) software as the synthetic test environment for the Land-Based Test Site (LBTS). Under the contract, BISim’s Virtual Battlespace (VBS) software will serve as the core simulation platform at the program’s LBTS. 04 Nov 25. Raytheon – Australia announced a AU$277m (US$180m) contract extension to continue managing the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarine combat management system. This multi-year, multimillion-dollar contract extension allows Raytheon Australia’s 150-strong team, supported by its local and global industry partners, to continue delivering the critical combat systems capability that will ensure the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines remain lethal well into the 2030s.
