30 Oct 25. GDELS to provide Germany and the United Kingdom with new M3 amphibious bridging capabilities. The German and British procurement agencies have signed a contract, valued over €450m, with the Organization for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR) through which they jointly acquire the newest generation of M3 amphibious bridging and ferry capabilities from General Dynamics European Land Systems–Bridge Systems (GDELS) in Kaiserslautern.

Slingshot Aerospace, Ltd., the leader in AI-powered solutions for satellite tracking, space traffic coordination and space modeling and simulation, announced today it has been awarded the United Kingdom Space Agency Provision of Optical Delivery Partner contract to expand the UK’s satellite tracking capabilities. This award strengthens the UK’s sovereign space domain awareness, expanding the UK Space Agency’s ability to track and characterize satellites and orbital debris. As orbital traffic surges—about 12,000 active satellites in orbit today and 100,000 expected by 2030—maintaining a persistent, independent view of orbit is now mission-critical. 04 Nov 25. Agate Sensors, a Finnish deep-tech startup pioneering ultra-miniaturised hyperspectral sensor technology, has been awarded an innovation contract by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) under its Military Innovation Program.  The contract supports the first external demonstration of Agate Sensors’ physiological monitoring capabilities in high-stress, high-risk defence environments – one of several areas where its technology embedded in wearables could enhance understanding and decision-making. For Agate Sensors, this marks its first defence collaboration and a key milestone in moving its patented optical sensing technology from laboratory validation to operational evaluation. Agate Sensors’ hyperspectral photoplethysmography (HPPG) technology delivers continuous, optical-based physiological insights that go beyond conventional wearables. Traditional PPG sensors – found in smartwatches and rings – use only a few light wavelengths to measure blood flow and heart rate. Agate Sensors’ HPPG captures hundreds, revealing subtle biochemical and metabolic signals that even the most advanced optical sensors cannot capture.

 

27 Oct 25. Dynamit Nobel Defence – Contract Signed to Purchase the Skorpion2 Mine-laying System. On Wednesday, October 22, Michael Humbek, Managing Director of Dynamit Nobel Defence, the Latvian Ministry of Defense, and the National Center for Defense Logistics signed the contract for the delivery of the Skorpion 2 mine-laying system. The agreement covers the delivery of the Skoprion 2 mine-laying system, its ammunition, AT2+ anti-tank mines, and other system-related equipment. In addition, training for personnel to work with the systems is included. The contract is intended to underscore Latvia’s commitment to actively involving local industry, thereby making an important contribution to strengthening security of supply and promoting regional value creation. At the same time, the conclusion of the contract opens up the possibility for other countries to join the project and conclude their own supply contracts with our company. 27 Oct 25. Gentex Corporation has been selected by the Czech Ministry of Defence to deliver next-generation Ops-Core integrated ballistic helmet systems and AMP® Communication Headsets to soldiers across the Czech Armed Forces. This order was placed through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) under the NATO Logistics Stock Exchange (NLSE) contract, which is available to all NATO member nations, strengthening interoperability across allied forces. 29 Oct 25. TKMS has been awarded a contract to modernise the minehunting sonars on the German Navy’s Frankenthal (Type 332)-class coastal minehunters/mine clearance diving vessels by the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr: BAAINBw). TKMS will supply its hull-mounted HMS-12M sonar to replace the Atlas Elektronik DSQS-11M sonars currently fitted to the Type 332s. The modernisation work will be undertaken during scheduled layovers for the ships of the class. (Source: Janes)

27 Oct 25.  BAE Systems – The UK Government has announced a c.£5.4bn agreement with the Republic of Türkiye for the purchase of 20 Typhoon aircraft and an associated weapons and integration package, sustaining more than 20,000 highly skilled jobs across the UK supply chain. Under the agreement, BAE Systems will manufacture major airframe components, conduct the final assembly of the aircraft and lead the weapons integration at its sites in Lancashire, generating work for hundreds of companies across the UK supply chain. The weapons package will be primarily provided by MBDA.

 

30 Oct 25. Eviden, the Atos Group product brand leading in advanced computing, cybersecurity products, mission-critical systems, and Vision AI, announces that it has been selected by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) to modernize the ground-to-air-to-ground (G/A/G) communication systems of the Spanish Air and Space Force. The €12m contract includes the supply, installation, and maintenance of next-generation communication systems that will enhance operations at Air Traffic Control (ATC) towers across various air bases, Air Force airfields, and Air Surveillance Squadron (EVA) bases of the Spanish Air and Space Force (SASF). The project, scheduled for completion within a maximum of 18 months, will involve the deployment of several hundred civilian and military radio systems at 35 locations across Spanish territory, providing comprehensive coverage of the mainland, islands, and the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla. The communications modernization encompasses a variety of radio and ground-to-air-to-ground (G/A/G) equipment, including transmitters, receivers, and transceivers operating in VHF and UHF bands, as well as multiband VHF/UHF radio transceiver systems. 30 Oct 25.  TAI – The Spanish government has officially approved a €3.12bn acquisition agreement for 45 Hürjet advanced jet trainers and light combat aircraft. The Hürjet, a single-engine aircraft designed and manufactured by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), will be produced at TAI’s facilities in Turkey. The agreement includes a significant role for Spanish industry: Airbus España will be responsible for integrating the mission computer, communications, and other selected avionics systems. This landmark deal is scheduled to see the first aircraft deliveries by 2028. It represents a major breakthrough for Turkey’s aviation sector, as it is the largest defense contract the country has secured within the European market to date. (Source: Defense Arabia)

 

30 Oct 25. Pilatus – The French Navy is set to become the first European military operator of the PC-24 Super Versatile Jet. The aircraft fleet will be procured from Pilatus and leased to the French Navy by Jet Aviation France, acting as the prime contractor. Delivery of the first of three PC-24s is scheduled for February 2026. Designed for exceptional operational flexibility, the PC-24 is certified for single-pilot operations, equipped with a standard cargo door, and approved for use on unpaved runways. These features make the aircraft ideally suited for a wide range of government missions, including instrument flight rules (IFR) pilot training, transport, and liaison tasks. 28 Oct 25. Thales unveils space surveillance radar AURORE – unique in Europe.

  • As part of the ARES program (Action and Space Resilience), Thales has been notified of a contract from the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) to develop, deliver and deploy a new ground-based low orbit space surveillance radar system. Called AURORE, it will watch the satellites and debris in low orbit from the earth.
  • This ground-breaking radar system provides continuous monitoring and tracking of multiple space objects simultaneously. It will strengthen French capabilities for assessing the space situation. AURORE will be the largest surveillance radar deployed in Europe.
  • In the context of the increasing militarization of space, this decision marks an important milestone for European and French sovereignty, by providing unprecedented detection capabilities to enhance military space surveillance missions of activities in low orbit.
  • Designed and manufactured at Thales’ Limours site, the AURORE radar also benefits from the expertise gained through partnerships with several French SMEs.

 

29 Oct 25. WB GROUP and the Armament Agency of the Ministry of National Defence have signed an executive agreement for the delivery of additional FlyEye Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). This contract is another stage in the implementation of the framework agreement covering the supply of more than four hundred systems for the Polish Armed Forces. The contract includes technical documentation as well as comprehensive repair, logistics, and training packages. This agreement represents another important step in strengthening the reconnaissance capabilities of the Polish Armed Forces. It supports the equipping of operational units with advanced, battle-proven, Polish-made systems and reflects the ongoing, long-term cooperation between WB GROUP and the Polish defence sector.  The FlyEye systems to be delivered will be integrated with the TOPAZ combat management system, ensuring full compatibility with mortars, self-propelled howitzers, and rocket launchers currently in service with the Polish Armed Forces. Castelion said on Friday it has won contracts to integrate its Blackbeard hypersonic strike weapon with current U.S. Army systems, the first step toward allowing the military to place the powerful and nearly unstoppable weapons around the world. The U.S. and China are engaged in an arms race to develop the most lethal hypersonic weapons, which travel in the upper atmosphere at more than five times the speed of sound and are designed to evade traditional defenses. 28 Oct 25. Saab – The U.S. Army has awarded Saab a contract to provide Giraffe 1X radars in support of security co-operation partners. The order value is approximately USD 46m. The order was booked in Q3 2025. Saab will provide Giraffe 1X systems with deliveries starting in 2026. The order underscores the growing demand for Saab’s advanced radar technology to strengthen air defense and Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capabilities worldwide.

 

27 Oct 25. SD Government (SDG), the division of Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO) providing satellite communications to global governments, has received a five-year federal contract to deliver multi-band, multi-orbit airborne global satellite communications to a US government agency. The new agreement, initially valued at USD$3m, is a follow-on from Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III activity originally undertaken by SDG, prior to the merger with Gogo.  Awarded as a sole-source contract, the agreement will see the agency consolidate all aero communications across its fleet to this single contract over the next five years. With the consolidation of multiple contracts into a single contract, procurement time and complexity are dramatically reduced. In addition, the agreement allows users to focus resources on the mission rather than managing diverse contracts and vendors. This is the first SDG government contract to optimize the company’s integrated multi-orbit, multi-band, multi-network capabilities. The deal also includes provision for the government to add new technology and services as they become available over the life of the contract. The agency’s missions demand consistent, reliable high-bandwidth satellite connections in every theatre of operations globally, as well as the highest encryption levels for secure communication and data transfer. SDG’s deep experience in the government and defense markets, combined with its ability to deliver 24/7/365 expert customer support, will ensure the customer retains consistent critical mission connectivity.  As the contract’s full scope is realized, it will employ Gogo’s air-to-ground networks, low-Earth orbit (LEO), medium-Earth orbit (MEO), high-Earth orbit (HEO) and geostationary orbit (GEO) constellations for Ku- and Ka-band connectivity as required.

29 Oct 25.  AEVEX – The US Army has chosen the Atlas Precision Strike System from AEVEX for its first fielding of Launched Effects–Short Range (LE-SR) technology. AEVEX secured the contract following a series of soldier-conducted tests and a special user demonstration (SUD) event, both of which confirmed the Atlas system’s readiness for operational deployment. 20 Oct 25. Kepler awarded contract to support Canadian Arctic Defence. Kepler Communications has been awarded a multi-year contract from Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) to demonstrate real-time data sharing and connectivity for Continental Defence, including the Canadian Arctic. The initiative will conduct research and analysis to support the development of technologies enabling resilient space architecture that integrates communications, sensing, and command and control. Kepler’s commercial LEO constellation, the Kepler Network, that will serve as a communication backbone to connect on-orbit platforms with multi-domain assets. Launching in early 2026, Kepler will leverage its first tranche of data relay satellites to demonstrate real-time, high-throughput optical intersatellite links between space and a remote ground terminal in Northern Canada. The secure and encrypted relay demonstrations will model and simulate network resiliency, relay terrestrial-based data, relay and compress Earth observation imagery, process data on orbit, and analyze other key performance metrics (Source: Satnews)

 

24 Oct 25. Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: KTOS), a technology company in defense, national security, and global markets, announced today that it has been awarded a contract through the Department of War’s Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment Program to design and build a state-of-the-art mid-tier arc jet and coupled fiber laser facility for hypersonic materials evaluation. Known internally to Kratos as Project Helios, the contract to Kratos for the leading technology facility has a total projected value of $68.3m. Once complete, the facility will address current critical gaps in U.S. Defense Industrial Base capabilities by providing essential testing infrastructure for thermal protection systems used in hypersonic vehicles. This capability will complement and enhance the national testing infrastructure, supporting all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of War and bridging the gap between low-fidelity screening solutions available across both industry and academia and the exquisite, large-scale arc jet facilities at government testing sites. Combining a 20-25 MW arc jet capability with a 200 kW fiber laser system, this innovative facility is expected to dramatically increase opportunities for material evaluation in support of both hypersonic and strategic national defense efforts. 29 Oct 25. Terma – The U.S. Air Force has awarded Terma a $10.5m contract for 170 additional 3D-Audio systems for the F-16 Fighting Falcon, bringing USAF acquisitions to 310. The decision reflects operational demand for an immediately deployable upgrade that sharpens pilot situational awareness, accelerates decision-making, and supports survivability in high-tempo environments. Terma 3D-Audio spatially separates radio, intercom, and warning tones so pilots perceive communications and threats from their actual direction of origin. Integrated with head-tracking and aircraft defensive suites, the system helps aircrew recognize and react to threats sooner than display-only solutions. Active noise reduction and high-fidelity audio further improve speech intelligibility and reduce fatigue.

30 Oct 25.  American Rheinmetall Awarded $31m Contract to Support Bradley Damage Assessment and Repair Efforts. American Rheinmetall has been awarded a contract valued at $31m (26,6MEUR) to support a Rapid Damage Assessment and Repair Demonstration for the U.S. Army and Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). Under this 18-month contract, awarded by the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences, Inc. (NCMS), American Rheinmetall will develop and demonstrate advanced damage assessment and repair processes by establishing a forward-deployed maintenance capability, for assessing and repairing damaged or broken Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV) closer to operational areas. The demonstration will use the Bradley IFV as a surrogate platform to validate a Rapid Damage Assessment and Repair (DAR) Team trained and equipped with advanced processes, tools, and a responsive supply chain ecosystem. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between battlefield damage and full depot-level repair by enabling rapid, efficient restoration of combat effectiveness until new parts or dedicated repair teams arrive.

 

27 Oct 25. ParaZero Technologies Ltd. Axon Vision, a leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for defense applications, has secured a contract valued at approximately 2m NIS from a leading loitering munitions manufacturer. Under the agreement, the company will supply its EdgeUAV system: an AI-powered solution for target acquisition, selective tracking, and precision guidance of unmanned aerial platforms such as drones, UAVs, and loitering munitions. The system supports full mission execution, from initial detection to accurate target engagement. The order follows a successful system integration process and will be delivered as software licenses for each platform. Deliveries are scheduled in phases and are due to be completed by January 2026. This is the first significant order of its kind for the EdgeUAV system in a license-based configuration, marking a key milestone for Axon Vision. It reflects the growing demand for AI-enhanced capabilities in the precision weapons domain and signals Axon Vision’s continued growth in the unmanned systems market.
