04 Sep 25. Tiberius Aerospace secures UK MoD contract to develop Sceptre, their revolutionary new Ramjet 155mm munition. Tiberius Aerospace is a modern defence technology company built to empower the UK, US and their global allies with next generation weapon systems and AI powered solutions. Tiberius is announcing the award of a UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) contract for the rapid trials and development of their liquid fuelled, 155mm Ramjet extended-range precision-guided artillery munition, called Sceptre (TRBM 155HG). The specific details of the contract cannot be disclosed, but this contract puts the UK MoD in the position of being the launch customer for Tiberius Aerospace, investing in this exciting new technology and the US Defence Innovation Unit (DIU) who are facilitating the independent verification and validation for the testing of the technology.

08 Sep 25. Denmark to become latest M3 user nation. Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisitions and Logistics Organisation (DALO) and General Dynamics European Land Systems–Bridge Systems (GDELS) have signed a contract for the delivery of the M3 amphibious bridge and ferry system. GDELS has thus responded to the Royal Danish Army’s urgent need of fast, flexible wet gap crossing means. Through the M3, Denmark strengthens interoperability within NATO and facilitates cooperation particularly regarding international training. Just as earlier batches, the Danish amphibians will be fully interoperable with other users’ M3 systems and – with a coupling adapter – with the SRB/FSB/IRB pontoon bridge family.
04 Sep 25. Supacat received its first export order from Czech Ministry of Defence for eighteen (18) High Mobility Transporter (HMT) similar to that of the UKs Jackal 3 Extenda, a versatile platform developed for use by global Special Forces, to be used by the Czech’s 601st Special Forces Group. The extenda variant of this world-renowned cross-country vehicle, which will be on display next week at the Defence & Security Equipment International Show (DSEI) at Excel, London, is capable of speeds of 120 kph. The vehicle system will be deployed to 601st Special Forces Group, the Czech Armed Forces’ premier special operations unit, and an elite rapid response and strategic asset capable of special reconnaissance, offensive actions, and a wide range of support and other operations replacing their aging Land Rovers.

08 Sep 25. Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT), announced today that it has been awarded a five-year contract by the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC), valued at up to $198M, to support adversary air (ADAIR) flight services for the USMC’s F-35 flight training on the East coast. ATAC’s ADAIR flight services, awarded under the Combat Air Force Combat Air Support II Multiple-Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, will provide valuable support for F-35 training on the East coast with flights to be conducted from Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point in North Carolina and MCAS Beaufort in South Carolina. The new award supports USMC training from 2025-2030. The USMC has long been a major ATAC customer through their participation in Fighter Jet Services (FJS) and Terminal Attack Controller Trainer (TACT) contracts, but the USMC Forces Command (MARFORCOM) F-35 Fleet ADAIR Task Order is ATAC’s first contract that is 100% dedicated to the USMC. ATAC’s F1 fleet, which provides Mach 2 aerodynamic performance, has been upgraded to meet the USMC’s F-35 requirements, which includes an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar and a Link 16 solution, integrated through a mission computer with RedWEZ software to provide accurate threat replication. Upgraded F1s have been in service at Luke Air Force Base and Fort Worth operating locations for several years, and have proved to be a reliable, effective and affordable solution to challenging Fifth Generation aircraft.
05 Sep 25. Boeing, Mesa, Arizona, was awarded a $343,988,969 modification (P00033) to a contract (W58RGZ-21-C-0015) to exercise options for remanufactured aircraft and associated support. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $3,430,883,832. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2027. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
05 Sep 25. Lockheed Martin Space, Littleton, Colorado, is being awarded a $132,599,818 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification (P00103) under contract N00030-19-C-0025. This effort will support systems engineering and development and testing for Conventional Prompt Strike. Work will be performed in Denver, Colorado (44%); Courtland, Sunnyvale, California (16%); Alabama (12%); Pittsfield, Massachuestts (7%); Sunnyvale, California (5%); Cambridge, Massachusetts (5%); Huntsville, Alabama (3%); Magna, Utah (2%); Washington, D.C. (1%); Simsbury, Connecticut (1%); Cape Canaveral, Florida (1%); and various other locations (3%). Work under this contract is expected to be completed on Dec. 31, 2025. Fiscal 2025 research, development, test and Evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $25,000,000 will be obligated upon award. No funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was awarded as a sole source acquisition pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(1) and was previously synopsized on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) online portal. 02 Sep 25. DARPA selects Q-CTRL to develop next generation quantum sensors for defense platforms. Q-CTRL has been selected for two awards under DARPA’s Robust Quantum Sensors (RoQS) program—with this selection, these contracts are valued at A$38 m ($24.4 m) to augment Q-CTRL’s field-validated quantum sensing technologies for demanding real-world use cases in high-performance military vehicles. 05 Sep 25. NP Aerospace launches new specialist women’s body armour range. At the same time, NP Aerospace announced the placement of an order for their new product by a currently undisclosed customer, for 2000 sets in a range of women-specific sizes.
05 Sep 25. Saab has received an order for Giraffe 4A radar systems with associated services from a country in Latin America. The order value is approximately SEK 550m. The mobile, self-contained, digital sensor solution Giraffe 4A increases the customer’s land-based air surveillance capabilities, and enables software-based updates. Giraffe 4A is a multi-functional radar system that offers users a range of advanced capabilities. With the ability to identify and track a high number of objects simultaneously, it is well-suited for both air and sea surveillance.

05 Sep 25. The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) has contracted Swedish defence company Saab for the supply of an additional AUV62-AT, an autonomous anti-submarine warfare (ASW) training target. Previously, in 2020, the RAN initiated the acquisition of a new anti-submarine training system to enhance its combat capabilities, leading to the integration of the AUV62-AT from Saab Australia into its operations. The AUV62-AT is an autonomous underwater vehicle designed to mimic submarines, torpedoes, or uncrewed vehicles for training purposes. (Source: naval-technology.com)

BIRD Aerosystems, a global provider of innovative airborne defense solutions, announces a significant milestone with a contract from the Israeli Ministry of Defense (DDR&D) for the development, installation and testing of its Airborne Missile Protection System (AMPS), including its recently developed µDIRCM solution on the Israeli Air Force’s Apache helicopter. The system is developed in collaboration with the Directorate of Defense Research & Development (DDR&D) of the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Under the agreement, BIRD will develop, integrate, deliver and test its AMPS solution, incorporating the world’s most compact and advanced DIRCM, ensuring full protection of IAF’s Apache helicopter against modern ground-to-air threats.
