08 May 25. Boeing – The UK Armed Forces’ Gladiator capability will connect more siloed simulator systems into its synthetic training environment. Boeing Defence UK, the original equipment manufacturer, will provide designer support to Gladiator, enabling a wider array of simulators under a contract issued in April 2025. The prime first delivered Gladiator to Royal Air Force (RAF) Waddington in January 2023. The capability functions as a central hub that integrates single-purpose simulators into one virtual environment allowing operators with different roles to train together. 08 May 25. South Wales and Gwent Police have selected Simpson Associates for their Joint Data Analytics Programme (JDAP) initiative. This programme aims to revolutionise intelligence-led policing, improve resource allocation, and enhance public safety through the application of data-driven insights. Developing Data Capabilities for Improved Policing. Simpson Associates will develop a scalable Data Analytics Platform to integrate real-time operational data, aiming to improve data accessibility for analysis. The three core objectives of this initiative are:
- Infrastructure and Technology: Implementing a robust and scalable infrastructure to support both forces data objectives.
- Data Analytics: Creating a unified data analytics platform to support data-driven insights across both forces.

02 May 25. Nato deliver fuel to UK Royal Navy on a global scale. The contract will power Royal Navy ships for the next ten years, while also offering other port services around the world. The UK Royal Navy have contracted the Nato Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) to provide fuel and other port services on a global scale for the next ten years. This €1bn ($1.13bn) deal builds on a pre-existing partnership between the two organisations formed in 2021 which covered non-C4ISR projects. NSPA are able to deliver fuel anywhere in the world excluding Antarctica, communist-controlled countries, and certain embargoed nations. 07 May 25. SPX Communication Technologies to provide data link capabilities to NPAS’ new fleet of Airbus helicopters. SPX Communications Technologies today announces its participation in a new deal between the UK’s National Police Air Service (NPAS) and Airbus Helicopters. In an initial phase of its fleet renewal programme, NPAS has ordered seven Airbus H135 helicopters, which will be equipped with data link capabilities from SPX Communications Technologies.

These orders include delivery of interoperable communication systems to enhance the operational capabilities of the German armed forces. 28 Apr 25. Ondas secures European order for Iron Drone Raider. Ondas has secured a USD 3.4m order for its Iron Drone Raider counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) technology from a European defence contractor for its governmental end client. This order will mark the initial deployment of the Iron Drone Raider in Europe. The system will be embedded into operational security frameworks and serve as a core component in the country’s C-UAS architecture. Raider is designed to autonomously detect, intercept, and neutralise hostile UAS – including those operating without GPS, RF signals, or remote control. Suitable for use in dense urban and contested environments, the Raider’s drone-on-drone, net-based capture system offers a low-collateral, reusable approach. Each interceptor drone autonomously engages targets using AI-driven onboard processing and returns to base for immediate redeployment. 08 May 25. Saab has received an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the delivery of Saab Lightweight Torpedoes (SLWT) and torpedo tubes. The order value is approximately SEK 1.3bn, with the start of deliveries during 2026. Saab Lightweight Torpedo, named Torped 47 by the Swedish Armed Forces, is Sweden’s new light torpedo system aimed at strengthening Sweden’s naval defence capabilities. The torpedo is intended primarily to be used from submarines and surface ships, but it is also prepared for integration on helicopters. (TDSI) received an order from the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) for Scorpion Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) retrofit kits to support U.S. Air Force (USAF) F-16 HMD modernization. The Scorpion HMD kits provide a modern digital platform allowing for enhanced pilot situational awareness with full color symbology and a single display for both day and night operations. The Scorpion HMD kits will replace the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) and allow the USAF a common Scorpion HMD solution across Air Force, Air National Guard and USAF Reserve F-16s.
