19 Apr 21. “The article in the Daily Telegraph is not entirely correct. DSEI 2021 is currently due to go ahead as a live event, between 14-17 September 2021, as originally scheduled, and aims to deliver an event as similar to those in previous years as possible. It will also have an online element to enhance the DSEI experience for those who are unable to attend in person. DSEI has sold over 80% of exhibition floor space currently, and the enthusiasm and appetite in the defence community to come together again is evident. Due to the ongoing and changing nature of the global pandemic, we have revised our deadlines and timeframes to allow for greater operational flexibility for our business partners. We continue to work closely with Government regarding the latest public health requirements for running large exhibitions. We are in constant communication with the venue, business partners, transport operators and hotels regarding the progress of the show.” Sally de Swart, Managing Director of Clarion Defence & Security, told BATTLESPACE.
