14 Jul 16. ALA – Advanced Logistics for Aerospace at Farnborough International Airshow 2016. ALA, Italian specialist in distribution, logistics and service provision for the aerospace industry, consolidated its acquisition of the Anglo-French STAG Group through the participation at the Farnborough International Airshow 2016.
The acquisition combines the strengths of ALA and STAG and will leverage both companies’ industry expertise and geographical footprint. The STAG Group acquisition strategically fits with ALA’s priorities of European expansion and development of the market in the US, and reinforces ALA’s worldwide position as a leading distribution and supply chain solutions provider, climbing the worldwide ranks up to the top 5 players.
The enlarged group is led by Roberto Scaramella and the leadership team members are professionals with extensive experience in the industry. The national units will be led by Graham Capell for the UK, Pascal Lefèvre for France and Robert Paden for the US.
Graham joins ALA from Wesco Aircraft, where he held senior positions in sales, procurement and general management.
Pascal joins ALA from Pattonair and B/E Aerospace (now KLX Inc.), where he held senior positions in sales, business development and procurement.
Robert joins ALA from Esterline, B/E Aerospace, Honeywell and at Fairchild Fasteners, where he held senior positions in sales, marketing and general management.
A new crucial hire is represented by Marcello Bruni, Global Chief of External Relations Officer, joining ALA after significant experience in Boeing and Lockheed Martin.
“ALA has achieved the critical mass and the right level of international experience to critically engage and expand in its strategic markets,” said Roberto Scaramella
