22 Dec 14. End of the road for Dytecna in Fareham. Sources close to BATTLESPACE have told BATTLESPACE that notifications have appeared regarding the winding up of the Dytecna Fareham Business. Established in the early part of the Millennium primarily to undertake work as a Centre of Excellence for Pinzgauer support for the UK MoD and others, (which never materialised), the Fareham site won other contracts such as the A400M Egress Trainer for the RAF. But dwindling orders and an injection from Private Equity into the parent Dytecna Engineering Ltd has meant closure for the Fareham plant. Does this mean a slimming down of Dytecna with an eventual exit?
