16 May 07. Defence Science and Technology Laboratory: Response to Report
The Defence Committee published (16 May 07) the Government’s Response to the Report on The work of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory and the funding of defence research (which had been published as HC 84 on 1 Mar 07). The Response failed to provide any financial details, noting that the future MoD research spend will be dependent upon the outcome of the 2007 Comprehensive Spending Review.
Comment: The Response included confirmation that closure of the Defence Diversification Agency is expected to be completed by Summer 2007.
