10 Jul 13. Research and Markets announced the addition of the “Global Defense Cyber Security Market 2012-2016” report to their offering. Commenting on the report, an analyst from TechNavio’s IT Security team said: One of the major trends supporting the growth of the Global Defense Cyber Security market is the introduction of defense-specific security solutions. Some of the vendors such as Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems are introducing cyber security solutions which are specifically developed for the Defense sector. This is encouraging the defense organizations in the developed and developing regions to adopt such specific solutions to provide better dedicated security for their information systems. This is likely to increase the revenue generated, supporting the growth of the Global Defense Cyber Security market. According to the report, one of the major drivers in the market is the increased threat of cyber-attacks. As critical data and information are stored in the defense information system, hackers try to retrieve these data. Such threats increase the demand for defense cyber security solutions in countries, which is supporting the growth of the Global Defense Cyber Security market.
