21 Jan 10. Nuclear Disarmament: Debate. The House of Lords debated (21 Jan 10) Nuclear Disarmament. Lord Hannay of Chiswick initiated the debate (Lords’ Hansard, Column 1108) with Baroness Kinnock of Holyhead summing-up (Column 1139) for the Government. The Government awaits an announcement on a successor to the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty between the UK and Russia and also the outcome of the US Nuclear Posture Review.
