04 Oct 10. DARPA to launch support programme for FOPEN radars. The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is preparing to launch the Foliage Penetration Ground Moving Target Indicator Radar Exploitation and Planning (FOPEN-GXP) programme in support of the FOPEN Reconnaissance, Surveillance, Tracking and Engagement Radar (FORESTER) and other FOPEN radars.
