265 Aug 09. ITT Corporation’s file inspection application, PuriFile®, has successfully integrated into Lockheed Martin’s Radiant Mercury cross-domain solution, providing advanced secure document transfer capabilities for government customers. The Radiant Mercury CDS helps government intelligence agency networks to transfer documents among groups operating at various security levels. This ensures data and communications coming from one network domain to another undergo extremely high levels of scrutiny to protect against compromises in the security and integrity of the information.”We’ve chosen to integrate ITT’s PuriFile software with our Radiant Mercury CDS in order to deliver a deep document inspection capability for hidden data that is a key aspect of the CDS data-integrity component,” said Ken Lewis, engineering program manager for Radiant Mercury. ITT’s PuriFile software is a file inspection application that performs deep analysis of various Microsoft Office file formats. The software detects and identifies hidden objects and metadata, which could accidentally or maliciously disclose sensitive information or confidential digital assets that would otherwise go unnoticed in typical review processes. Radiant Mercury CDS is the latest in a growing number of government and commercial products to use ITT’s PuriFile application for deep content inspection of files before transfer.
