About the Role:

Our client is currently recruiting for The Dreadnought Programme and we are interested in hearing from candidates with HND/HNC or Degree level qualifications in any of the following subjects:

The Dreadnought Programme
The Dreadnought programme, which has recently received full parliamentary approval, will deliver a new generation of submarines to carry the UK’s nuclear deterrent. It is the largest programme in Defence with a budget of £34bn confirmed in the Strategic Defence and Security Review.
Our clients Involvement
We are charged with ensuring that the Dreadnought submarines, and the support arrangements that we and others provide, are capable of ensuring the delivery of the UK’s Continuous At-Sea Deterrent patrols.
Ensuring that our nuclear deterrent is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year is a huge task and one that our client has a major part in delivering for the current Vanguard-class platforms. We have three primary functions within the Dreadnought Programme:
Influencing the design of the submarine – maximising ease of support in service;
Developing an in-service Support Solution which demonstrably satisfies requirements for availability and cost;
Ensuring the submarine can be maintained within safe operating limits.
About You
An excellent communicator, you will be able to articulate complex arguments for a wide range of stakeholders to understand.
You will be able to demonstrate that you can drive issues to completion.
Preferably degree qualified (or HND/HNC with relevant experience) you will be committed to continuing your professional development.
Project Management experience or qualifications would be advantageous as the role requires the delivery of documentation to time and budget.

Security
Successful candidates will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements. You must be a sole UK national and hold, or be capable of achieving ‘Security Check’ (SC) clearance.
The role will be in an environment regulated by Trade Control legislation and involve working with controlled goods, technology and/or services. This may require you to meet enhanced security and regular screening checks.
