The Boeing Company today announced that its Defense, Space & Security unit has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with three Malaysian companies: Composites Technology Research Malaysia Aero Composites (CTRM AC), SME Aerospace (SMEA), and Spirit AeroSystems. The MOUs outline plans to explore business opportunities for manufacturing specialized components and equipment for use in the defense and aerospace sectors. The agreements were signed June 7 at the SMIDEX 2011 – SME Innovation Showcase in Kuala Lumpur, said Boeing in a statement today. (Source: Google/BERNAMA)

Coventry-based Development Engineering & Enterprise Limited (DEE-Ltd) has established a strategic alliance with Enhanced Protection Systems Limited (EPS), which is located in Moira, Derbyshire. DEE has been assisting EPS on a number of vehicle design programmes for some time. DEE, a privately-owned British company, was founded in 2005 by Neil McAdam and made its military vehicles debut with its WeeViL (Wheeled Vehicle Light) later the same year.
