Lockheed Martin UK and the Defence Support Group (DSG) today announced the signing of a Strategic Partnering Agreement (SPA), which will enable the companies, and their suppliers, to enhance delivery of military capability to the UK MoD and sustain critical sovereign skills in the UK. The SPA provides an overarching partnership framework between the two organisations, which will be supplemented by specific teaming agreements, as opportunities are identified over time.
18 Nov 09. Raytheon Company has entered into a reseller agreement with Xceedium®, Inc., the leading provider of next-generation access control and audit solutions. Raytheon will resell Xceedium’s GateKeeper appliance as a complement to its SureViewâ„¢ insider threat solution. The joint solution will provide federal and commercial customers with a comprehensive access control, monitoring and audit solution to protect against insider and external threats. Xceedium GateKeeper controls access and audits users from end to end, providing technology for customers to right-size privileges based on policy trust models with enforcement and audit for access to critical infrastructure. SureView is an insider threat protection solution installed on endpoints that identifies and investigates user activity that violates policy so organizations can proactively manage insider incidents.

Lockheed Martin Australia of Canberra and Acacia Research, Ltd. of Adelaide are teaming to pursue the combat system integrator role for the Royal Australian Navy’s Future Submarine project, SEA 1000. Under this Department of Defence project, 12 next-generation submarines are envisioned to replace Australia’s six existing Collins-class boats. SEA 1000 is expected to be the Australian government’s largest-ever single defence project. Under the teaming arrangement, Lockheed Martin Australia will lead overall management of the program pursuit. Following contract award, it would develop and integrate an advanced combat system for the new submarine class, serving as the prime contractor and systems integrator. Acacia Research will be a principal team member. The two companies already are working together to integrate some of Acacia Research’s applied research into Lockheed Martin’s generic combat systems architecture. They will leverage this work to pursue the Future Submarine programme.
