10 Sep 07. Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) LLC, a subsidiary of Raytheon Company, has been awarded a five-year, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract to support the Department of Defense’s counter-narcoterrorism activities. This multiple contractor award has an estimated ceiling value of $15bn. The scope of work across all task orders is to provide equipment, material and services to the DOD’s Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office(CNTPO). Work began Aug. 24 and will end Aug. 23, 2012. Under the terms of the contract, RTSC may provide support to CNTPO in three areas: technology development and application; training, operations and logistics support; and professional and executive support. CNTPO is located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Va.
13 Sep 07. The Botswana Police Service and Eurocopter Southern Africa Pty. Ltd, signed a contract in Gaborone on September 13 for the purchase of three Eurocopter AS350 B3 helicopters to serve its newly-formed Police Air Support . Two of the aircraft will be delivered in December 2008, and the remaining one in August 2009.
