The AUSA meeting, known as the “free world’s largest land warfare forum and exposition, will focus on panel discussions; educational, professional development forums; special multi-media presentations and workshops that will reinforce, examine and showcase the Army as a more relevant and ready force,” Association officials said.
Washington Convention Center and hotels
Convened for the fifth year in the Washington Convention Center, the 53rd AUSA Annual Meeting, Oct. 8 – 10, will have over 470,000 square feet of industry and military exhibits highlighting state-of-the-art equipment, technology and research and development initiatives.
The center is located at Mount Vernon Square, between 7th and 9th Streets – at New York and Massachusetts avenues.
Association officials said this year’s three-day forum will emphasize “AUSA’s important educational and professional role in supporting the warfighting and transforming Army – active, Army National Guard, U.S. Army Reserve – the men and women who serve, retirees and veterans, Army civilians, contractors – and all their families.”
The meeting attracts over 27,000 members and guests annually.
