15 Aug 11. Focus on Security in Theatre Two at DSEi. A wide variety of security topics will come under the spotlight in Theatre Two during DSEi. QinetiQ’s Antony Bridge, David Livingstone of Harmonic and Emma Shaw from Esoteric will host a panel discussion focussed on security and resilience of critical national infrastructure and the required partnership between the public and private sector. (Tuesday 13 September) Don Smith, Director of Dell’s Counter Threat Unit, will be discussing the ‘Next Evolution of Cyber Attack’. During the talk he will analyse the evolutions and revolutions of the cyber landscape before making his predications for the future. (Wednesday 14 September) Dr Toby Bracken of Cranfield University will report on research, funded across Government, investigating the use of automated baggage screening for transport security (Thursday 15 September). How defence companies face tracking both internal and external social media conversations and the impact they could have on business will be the subject of a discussion by Patrick Herridge of Social 360 and Barney O’Kelly of BAE Systems (Friday 16 September).
