Force Protection

Bisley Military Technology Exhibition & Conference

Following the success of Owning The Night Conference and Exhibition in 2009, we are delighted to announce the dates for 2010.

Owning the Night 2010 will take place from 17– 19th November 2010, at The National Shooting Centre, Bisley, Surrey, UK, only 30 minutes from London. The event is being managed by BATTLESPACE Publications and The National Shooting Centre.

The event targets visitors from all levels of UK MoD, Home Office and UK Police involved with firearms, night vision equipment and weapon sighting systems and all companies and individuals involved in the industry.

Flir Systems Inc. is the new Platinum Sponsor for Owning The Night 2010.

David Strong, Vice President, Marketing for FLIR Systems’ Government Systems division said, “We are delighted to be given the opportunity to become Platinum Sponsor for Owning The Night in 2010. Our sponsorship of the 2009 event proved very fruitful for FLIR Systems and allowed us to demonstrate our systems in real-time and in the correct environment, which is unique to Owning The Night. FLIR Systems will continue to sponsor the Shooting Competition which attracted over 60 entrants this year and which allowed us to highlight the capabilities of our sighting systems and those from Trijicon, our partner in a number of key projects. Next year we will expand our presence at Owning The Night with more emphasis on the night driving demonstration where we will be demonstrating key new technologies for night driving including our DVEs which have been chosen by a number of European defence forces.”

Qioptiq has confirmed that the Company will again be Gold Sponsors for 2010.

Nacre Systems, the acoustic hearing specialists, have been appointed as Official Suppliers of acoustic protection products.
