01 Jul 10. On July 1st, Dytecna Ltd and Hobson Industries Ltd signed a strategic alliance to target certain future business opportunities. The agreement was signed by John Fulford MD of Dytecna and Peter Hobson MD of Hobsons after formal discussions in Lincolnshire on 1st July.

This agreement will see two of the UK’s privately owned businesses in the Defence sector offer assistance and strength to each in the pursuance of new opportunities in UK and overseas.
“Dytecna Ltd has gained a growing reputation for the integration of complex sub-systems into vehicle platforms and the provision of bespoke technology and support services. Over the past five years we have expanded our international vehicle market activities. This agreement will strengthen our abilities to offer a broader range of services.” John Fulford, managing Director of Dytecna said,

Hobson industries has gained a formidable reputation for the support offered to the Land Rover military and police customers worldwide supporting product range with spares and support services. Hobson Industries are also building a reputation for militarising vehicles and systems with new offerings covering blast and ballistic protection.

The agreement will see a wider offering to both company’s client base and open up new potential business on a worldwide basis.
“Our recent agreement with Land Rover to support worldwide military legacy fleets has given Hobson Industries key capabilities to provide Through Life Support solutions for these fleets and thus lengthen their service life. This agreement is good news for both organisations who can now offer a much wider range of services to the world market.” Peter Hobson, Managing Director of Hobson Industries said.
