24 Apr 26. BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service) has signed a 10-year contract with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to transform the way that UK Armed Forces access trusted media and entertainment, wherever they are serving.

27 Apr 26. Rheinmetall has received another Billion-euro-contract from the Bundeswehr in the field of soldier-systems. The Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) has placed a call-off order with Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH for additional ‘Infantry Soldier of the Future – Enhanced System’ (IdZ-ES) soldier-systems under a framework agreement. The contract covers the modernisation of existing systems and the delivery of additional 237 platoon systems. It is worth €1.04bn gross. The systems have are to be delivered between November 2027 and December 2029. Additional 8,600 soldiers will receive the IdZ-ES system. In total, the Bundeswehr will then be equipped with 353 platoon systems comprising over 12,000 individual sets of equipment. Awarded in April, the contract will be booked in the second quarter of 2026. In total, the German Bundestag has approved €1.3 billion for the project a few days ago, so further call-offs are expected.
30 Apr 26. ProTEK Seating Selected to Equip Dutch Military’s IDV “Manticore” Fleet. TEK Military Seating is proud to announce that its advanced ProTEK seating systems have been selected for a major new contract supporting the Dutch Armed Forces. The agreement will see ProTEK supply over 4,000 military-grade seats for approximately 1,200 IDV 12kN vehicles, marking a significant milestone for the company in the European defence sector. The IDV 12kN vehicle named “Manticore” by the Dutch Armed Forces—is a next-generation Medium Tactical Vehicle (MTV) designed to deliver exceptional mobility, protection, and modularity. Built on a 4×4 platform, the Manticore is engineered for high-performance operations across diverse and demanding terrains. IDV’s Multirole Tactical Vehicle platform combines advanced off-road capability with outstanding payload capacity, modular configurations, and integrated protection systems. Available in multiple variants—including Hard Top, Pick-up, Casualty Transport, Personnel Transport, and Command Post—the vehicle is designed to meet the operational needs of a wide range of military users, including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Military Police units.

DRS Network & Imaging Systems LLC, Melbourne, Florida, was awarded a $150,000,000 modification (P00018) to contract W909MY-22-C-0023 for manufacturing and delivering Third Generation Forward Looking Infrared (3GEN FLIR) Low-Rate Initial Production Dewar Cooler Benches to support the XM30 Mechanized Infantry Combat Vehicle, the Future Advanced Long-range Common Optical / Netted-fires Sensor, and the Abrams M1E3 Main Battle Tank. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $213,138,361. Work will be performed in Melbourne, Florida, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2029. General Dynamics Land Systems, Sterling Heights, Michigan, was awarded a $716,247,873 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for sustainment services including field service representatives, vehicle maintenance, modification work orders, fielding and de-processing, new equipment training, and program management in support of Abrams Family of Vehicles, Joint Assault Bridge, Assault Breacher Vehicle, and Foreign Military Sales requirements. 29 Apr 26. General Dynamics Land Systems announced today that it has been awarded a $450-million agreement from the U.S. Marine Corps for the Pre-Production Development (PPD) phase of the Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) competition. The PPD phase will include the validation of final design and build of multiple vehicles across a subsection of the expected family of ARV variants, followed by a series of U.S. Government test and evaluation activities.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded an undefinitized contract action with a not-to-exceed of $1,132,447,811 for full rate production 17 of High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems M142 launchers and supporting requirements to address urgent needs for the Army, Marine Corps, and Foreign Military Sales customers in Australia, Canada, Estonia, Sweden, and Taiwan. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of April 30, 2028. 24 Apr 26 C-UAS Hub said today that US Marine Corps awards $9.5m contract for portable anti-drone jammers. The United States Marine Corps has awarded a $9.5 million contract to SteelRock Technologies Ltd. for compact radio frequency jammers designed to counter small drones. The contract, issued by Marine Corps Systems Command, covers the procurement of NightFighter Mini systems and related spares under the Corps’ Organic Counter small Unmanned Aerial Systems program. All equipment is scheduled for delivery by August 25, 2026, with funding drawn from fiscal year 2024 procurement budgets. At the center of the deal is the NightFighter Mini, a compact electronic warfare system weighing about 2 kilograms. Designed for use by a single operator, the device can be carried or mounted to a rifle, allowing individual Marines to disrupt drone activity without relying on larger, dedicated counter-UAS systems. Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and is expected to be completed by April 2028. Fiscal 2026 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $59,092,397 (73%); and fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $21,500,339 (27%), will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. 30 Apr 26. Textron Systems Corporation, a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, announced today a contract award from the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) to produce and deliver multiple TSUNAMI® Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs), which will be used to support the U.S. Navy Fleet Experimentation (FLEX) exercise in Key West, Florida and provide three months of joint operations with SOUTHCOM and the U.S. Navy Fourth Fleet. Under the contract, Textron Systems will provide the long dwell TSUNAMI interceptor USVs and Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to the FLEX exercise, demonstrating cooperative intelligence, surveillance reconnaissance and targeting (ISR-T) with its Aerosonde® 4.7 VTOL UAS off a Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). The exercise will also demonstrate manned-unmanned surface warfare with Invariant Corporation’s Surface-to-Air Kinetic Engagement (STAKE) system.

This contract provides for the design, engineering, integration, testing, and verification/validation of M-Code Global Positioning System capabilities into the AN/USN-3(V)1 Joint Precision Approach and Landing System, as well as for the procurement of four engineering development models for the Navy. 29Apr 26 KBR (NYSE: KBR) announced today its Mission Technology Solutions business has been awarded a new Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multi-award contract with a ceiling value of $510 million to provide high-impact joint data and analytic support services to the Office of the Secretary of War, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (OSW CAPE) Joint Data Support (JDS ) Division. Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has been selected by the Commonwealth of Australia to participate in formal engagement as a critical step toward establishing sovereign solid rocket motor (SRM) manufacturing capabilities in Australia. Northrop Grumman and the Commonwealth of Australia will commence a structured industry-engagement process to explore, discuss and clarify potential requirements and processes relating to solid rocket motor production in Australia. A core element of the program will be the integration of Australian suppliers into the production line, ensuring Australia benefits from access to Northrop Grumman’s world-leading propulsion technology while establishing a sovereign manufacturing base.
28 Apr 26. The Albanese Government has selected the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM), investing $2.3 billion over the decade and delivering a second long‑range fires regiment at the Edinburgh Defence Precinct in South Australia. This decision follows a comprehensive competitive evaluation process by Defence. 27 Apr 26. in partnership with HighCom Limited (ASX: HCL) and its subsidiary HighCom Technology, it has secured a Counter Small Uncrewed Aerial System contract with the Australian Department of Defence. The contract, valued at A$9.81 million, follows an evaluation programme conducted by the Australian Defence Force and marks a significant step in the deployment of operational counter-drone capabilities. Delivery of the systems will be completed by the end of June 2026.

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Linthicum Heights, Maryland, has been awarded a ceiling $488,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for F-16 System Program Office Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Air Force/Navy support.
