Ian helped establish WFEL’s newest product, the Dry Support Bridge (DSB), on the global marketplace. In 2006 when UTC decided to divest WFEL, Dunedin backed the management team of WFEL, led by Managing Director Ian Wilson and Finance Director Cliff Richards, in a transaction valued at £48 million.
Roger Medwell, Chairman, CEO and Managing Director of NP Aerospace
Roger joined NP in 1960. The Company has undergone a number of iterations since that time from a subsidiary of Courtaulds thru an MBO funded by Carlyle in 2005 with the management owning 10.2% to a subsidiary of Morgan Crucible in 2007 with the management still owning 40% of the Company. The Company turned over £72 million in 2008 and will reach a remarkable £200 million this year having forecast £50 million.
Archie Massicotte, President of NAVISTAR Defense, LLC
Navistar had no military sales at all in 2003, which rose to $4.3 billion in 2008. Archie was the architect of this success. He joined Navistar in 1977 aged 22 as a graduate at the Engine Division and worked up into Management ending up as sales & Marketing Director for the export business in 1998.
