Alvis OMC is South Africas primary military vehicles facility, based in Benoni, near Johannesburg. Alvis OMC covers all disciplines of the military vehicle spectrum from conceptualisation, through design and development, manufacture and production and in-service support. Specialising in mine protection, Alvis OMC produces heavy and light armoured vehicles, in tracked and wheeled configurations with an international customer base covering over 20 countries. Alvis OMC products include the RG range, Rooikat, Kobra, G6, Casspir and Wasp.
Part of the Alvis Group, Alvis OMC was formed in 2002 and is one of the trading divisions of Alvis South Africa (Pty) Limited.
